Do you ever feel like your life is out of control, up in the air, or fraught with uncertainty? If so, that can change for the better.
You have a Life of certain good with God to be experiencing on a regular basis.
Mary Baker Eddy writes this arresting statement, “The evidence of divine Mind’s healing power and absolute control is to me as certain as the evidence of my own existence” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 177). Mrs. Eddy had no doubt about divine Mind’s ability to solve problems and heal suffering. She proved it with her healing work. We can do the same.
Life feels out of control when we believe we are mortals thrown around by whatever the world throws at us. Days can feel uncertain, unstable.
But a sensation of instability leaves as we understand that God is our Life.
God is a fixed Principle; like the Rock of Gibraltar that never moves! God never moves from being a certain supply of inspiration, ideas, comfort, and help that meets every need.
When we rely upon a steady source of help, we feel more stability in our life. Help comes when we need it. Answers appear on demand.
Eliminate instability by living stable. Live with God. It’s a Life of certain good.
“Eliminate instability by living stable.“
But how?

Thomas, it’s just a symbol, just like Jesus’ parables which help us to understand the spiritual reality of things, .for SpiritView is is about Spirit’s view, and doesn’t have anything to do with politics..
This is what we are looking for about this Rock.
“The popular meaning of the Rock of Gibraltar symbolizes immense strength, stability, safety, and permanence, famously captured in the phrase “solid as the Rock of Gibraltar,” representing something unshakeable, like a reliable person or a secure investment. Historically, its fortress-like nature and strategic location made it seem unconquerable, reinforcing this idea, and it also represents home and resilience for its people, with the motto “No Enemy Shall Expel Us”.
Thank you Evan for the lift up today and everyday.
Merry Christ-mas!

Thank you for the link!
Dear J, thanks very much for this article “stability in unstable times”. This article is also helpful, when we pray for the world peace.
Wonderful and comforting, dear Evan what you say, namely “Help comes when we need it. Answers appear on demand”. Such a loving, healing certainty of God’s all encompassing Love ! Thank you very much , Evan for your spiritual views which are making our God’s day! ♡
Dear Evan,
Thank you for yet another inspiring SpiritView. I especially love the statement, “Answers appear on demand.”
When I first began studying Christian Science, I often found myself devoid of support from family members who were desperately trying to pull me out of Science. But time after time, when I reached out to God for an answer — the answer was immediately present. I was able to prove this in simple situations, such as needing to get to an obscure location without a map and bringing my father back from what appeared to be impending death.
God is always there. Always present and never leaves us alone.
Thank you,Bob – a very good example of holding to the truth against all odds, and you were able to bring
healing and blessings on others through your steady
trust in God and what you were learning about Him.
Thank you for sharing that.
This morning when I woke up I felt such gratitude for breaking out of some of the habitual bad thinking I had been doing for years. I woke up thinking about some people I know who have struggled with alcohol addiction and how that had affected them. The alcohol habit affected their stability in life and unfortunately ended the life of one of the women. Bad habits, whether they involve drinking alcohol, caffeine, eating too much, checking the cell phone every few minutes, being grouchy, shopping too much on line or whatever, these things bring on bad thinking habits, and visa versa.
I recently ended a bad caffeine habit and I feel much more stable! I can feel God’s presence so much more without my life being outlined by caffeine. To increase stability break free of bad habits and bad thinking habits.
I have been thinking that a stable is a safe, secure place, like the manger that
Jesus was “born” in. Like with horses, they are in a protected place from
predators and so are we, when we are sheltered in the Love of God’s caring.
But sometimes, what we Thought was one way, can be uprooted and what
we Thought was a safe place, forces us to grow and do things we never knew
we could. With God’s help, we can overcome challenges that sometimes seem
so daunting and frustrating. As Mrs. Eddy writes in S&H pg 57, “Love enriches
the nature, enlarging, purifying, and elevating it. The wintry blasts of earth
may uproot the flowers of affection, and scatter them to the winds; but this
severance of fleshly ties serves to unite thought more closely to God, for Love
supports the struggling heart until it ceases to sigh over the world and begins to
unfold its wings for heaven”. To me, relying on fleshly/mortal varying forms of
distraction, pries us away from the unity that we have, the stability, of Life in
the spiritual, which is eternal and away from the fleeting mortal senses that
would slow our ability to cherish all in harmony.
yes! thank you, Carol… we each know (all too well) the distractions that would pry us away from the upward path. I’m finding that honesty helps!! Our ever-patient divine Parent is always ready to help us when we’re willing to be humble, and to be better ☮️
Yes, please delete it for me. I did not intend to make a political point.
