God gets the job done best of all

Have you ever felt stuck? Stymied? Feeling like all your efforts to improve a troubled situation are getting you nowhere?

Take heart. There is a new approach that may bring better results.

Put human will aside and let God’s will be done.

There isn’t anything you can do humanly that is better than what God can accomplish spiritually. Give God a chance to work His way and amazing things can happen.

God gets the job done best of all!

  1. Thanks Evan. Your inspiration reminds me of “God’s law of Adjustment”. It’s mentioned that when we have done our best to resolve a situation and nothing works out, we must hand over the whole situation completely, trustingly to God and stop checking how it’s progressing. Then alone God’s law of Adjustment takes over and all the power of God works for a harmonious solution.
Our Father Mother God loves us beyond measure and will never leave us half way, but takes us all the way. Thanks be to the most kind and compassionate God.

  2. In my career problem solving is a continual challenge. Early on I learned to ask God for the right idea to solve these problems. He always gave the right directions through inspiration as I listened for His voice. Applying these angels always got the job done.
One instance was finding a metal conduit which was pushed across a roadway. A large excavation was made on both sides of the road. Much manpower and equipment was employed to push this conduit across. The experienced men were saddened as they had pushed this conduit across sufficiently to cross the pavement. And couldn’t find it on the other side. It had obviously taken an unexpected angle and went in a direction unknown. This was before the knowledge of metal detectors. At the time I was still a beginning apprentice. The journeymen weren’t inclined to listen to me.
However I did listen for God’s voice. I would get a steel rod, sharpen one end and probe the ground to try to hit the metal conduit. While the other men made arrangements to drive another conduit, I began to probe the surrounding earth. And when it hit a solid object the rest were told. They doubted that it was the actual conduit, but when the probe hit it in a continuing pattern down the conduit, they started to understand. The day was saved.
Similar circumstances have revealed these solutions during my 55 years of mechanical services. Protecting the public, harnessing power for utility, making it safe and useful for all.

The first electric light bulb was invented in 1802 by a man named Davy. Thomas Alva Edison created a commercially acceptable lamp in 1879. Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Michigan has displays of interest. Thomas Edison’s home in Tampa, Florida has a museum in his basement to observe his incredible advancements in electricity.

Remember that all power is given unto our Lord, God. Electricity is temporary. God’s power is eternal..

Thanks Evan for demonstrating getting the job done. And to all the others on this site, Merry Christmas and it’s every day!

    1. Thanks David. I love what you wrote – “Äll power is given unto our Lord, God. Electricity if temporary. God’s power is eternal” . We are enduring high temperatures and massive fires in Australia at the moment and this just jumped out at me and gives me a good direction to work on. Thank you again. Liz

  3. …And God gets the job done in the most harmonious manner. “Tenderness accompanies all the might imparted by Spirit.” (SH 514:18–19)

  4. Somewhere I read that if God can not do it, man need not attempt it.. a fair statement I’d say… Or, with God all things ate possible!

  5. Thank you all. Wonderful example, David. When I read “ With God , all things are possible.”….I like to declare..” With God , all things are already done!” God gives and does all. So grateful.

  6. I recently read that Jesus said: “Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes” (Matthew 6:34, Eugene Peterson, The Message).
So if we begin to feel stressed we can “let go, and let God” who “performeth all things for us” as the Bible tells us. What a relief!

  7. What a lovely pic, the North lights.
Thank you Evan for today’s SpiritView which I love very much. It is very comforting, to let go my own ideas and let God manage our daily Life, for God is our Life. As Evan says: “God gets the Job done best of all.” I also tune in to Kathyw’s comment, that with God everything is already done perfectly and beautifully. Actually we can’t do else but express God’s harmonious doing.
