God has a good plan for you

August 24, 2021 | 39 comments

If you’re ever wondering what to do next or how to go about it, God has a wonderful plan in Mind that will meet the need.

Pray to let God’s plan unfold before you!

To see God’s plan, we need to put aside any mortal state of mind that would blind or deafen us to that perfect plan. This may require some humility to silence self-will, selfish desire, personal wants, or personal outlining.

God always knows best. What you are not sure about, divine Mind is sure about.

Put personal sense aside, open to spiritual sense, and let the perfect plan unfold before you. It’s here. It’s present, and it’s knowable.

    1. Wow, such a wonderful and helpful article. It is so relevant to Evan’s today’s SpiritView which is very needed.
Thank you very much for it, dear Martine!♡

    2. Thank you! Good article and Blog; altered a “my-sense “ to the HIS/HER sense of Being. The all caps can be substituted with any synonym of GOD.

  1. Thank you so very much, Evan, for this perfect post this morning. Exactly what I needed! Thank you for listening for the perfect idea and for posting it here! <3

  2. Thank you Evan for your timely article. My family and I are leaving the country in a week and I have been praying about safety. Knowing that God is in control. And listening for God’s perfect plan. I have been working with, Mary Baker Eddy’s poem “Feed my Sheep”

Shepherd, show me how to go
    O’er the hillside steep,
How to gather, how to sow,-
    How to feed Thy sheep;
I will listen for Thy voice,
    Lest my footsteps stray;
    I will follow and rejoice
    All the rugged way.

This post is so spot on, and I know that there is no ‘spot’ where God is not.
    Thank you again for posting!

  3. Thank you so much Evan! Yesterday at work, I found self-will trying to “push” God’s plan along for something that I thought wasn’t moving fast enough.
When I look at the picture of the fern, I realize that Gods’ plan simply and lovingly unfolds for each of us in a way that will be beautiful and complete. We never need to help the fern. The unfolding is a part of Gods plan.
Trusting God/Good, we can be patient when we trust the outcome will always be good. So today I can move forward with this wonderful reminder to “Let go, God’s got this!”

  4. This is so appropriate for a committee on the north shore of Chicago praying for God’s plan for a lecture.
Love the photo of a fiddle head fern!

    1. Thanks a lot Angie for this lovely, comforting and healing article about our innocent oneness with our loving God!

Thank you Evan – it’s a wonderful SpiritView again today and so good to know that God has the best Plan for each of us – His/Her be loved children!♡

  5. Thank you Evan for this much needed reminder. The article link from Martine is so helpful too.
Our experiences are fulfilling, wonderful and eternal when we watch for them coming from Divine Love.❣️

  6. Sight & hearing is mentioned here today.
Thank you. They both need rejuvenation.
Perhaps the correct destination becomes apparent with the correct course to follow. Spiritual senses…

  7. Thank you Evan. I love the picture of the beautiful fern. Another great lesson from nature. Each leaf is perfect, and naturally unfolds at just the right time, with no struggle. “The tree and herb do not yield fruit because of any propagating power of their own, but because they reflect the Mind which includes all.” Science & Health 507: 18-21.

Some quotes/thoughts from others I’ve written down:
    – God’s plan for good is complete and unfolds at the right time for everyone in a harmonious and orderly way.
    – Our only responsibility is to establish a clear channel of thought that enables us to hear God’s direction.
    – Get clear that the one Mind of Love alone governs and guides your decision-making and forms the thoughts and outlook of everyone involved.
    – Is the Shepherd guiding us, or human will?
    – Mind is never afraid of what is to come, for Mind determines what is to come, and it’s always best for everyone involved.

    1. Thank you J for so many wonderful, calming ideas to work with on this excellent topic from Evan today.

  8. Human/mortal thinking tries to pull us into thoughts of past and future. That’s when human outlining is likely to starts, we feel a pull to worry about something, we think we “know” something, that we’d better figure this out and “do” something. But we are timeless beings of a timeless loving God. He is found right here, now, and we can trust Him and rest in His arms. He knows all is well, we can know it too. “To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, today is big with blessings.” Amen!

  9. Once when there were two plans beckoning: travel to a city with a friend for a weekend, or stay at home with her as a guest, I didn’t know which one we would be taking. I didn’t know how to plan: pack and prepare for a trip, or get the home ready for a guest staying at home. As I prayed about preparing adequately the thought came that if I weren’t outlining and open to God’s direction when the timing was right, I should prepare for both and wait for the divine will to express itself. So, I packed a suitcase AND prepared the house for a pleasant weekend stay. We were able to travel to the city, and had an exceptionally super time, with obvious protection in at least one dangerous circumstance. This was a great lesson – be patient and ready for God’s plans wherever they may lead.

    1. Ruth, your comment makes me think of this from Matt. 6:26: “Behold the fowls of the air; for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?”

  10. Thanks sir for inspiring to be obedient to God’s will and silencing our human will always to get healing.

  11. Thanks sir for guiding to be obedient to God’s will and silencing our human will always to get healing.

  12. ONENESSS

There is ONE Mind and all true being is the divine consciousness — the One ‘I’ saying AM — which we call the Ego. All that has truth, or life, or love has it because it is God saying I AM: this is ME.

  13. Thanks Evan – very relevant for me now given that a lot of the things that I have enjoyed doing over the years – motorcycling (road and dirt), mountain biking (downhill and XC), kayaking, etc. don’t seem to hold as much interest for me as they used to. So praying to hear God’s plan for me as I progress forward.
