What are you prepared to see?

August 25, 2021 | 22 comments

People only see what they are prepared to see.

~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

Are you prepared to see abundance? Are you prepared to see health, to live strong, and be productive? It’s your choice.
Choose rightly!

Experience is all in mind. The mind experiences what it believes.

The best experience comes from living in divine Mind.

Divine Mind sees abundance ahead of time. Divine Mind creates its own health, strength, and productive action.

Mind is not matter, nor does it constitute a material world. That’s the realm of the temporal, finite, and fleeting.

Mind is Spirit, infinite Love. It knows no bounds, limits, or lack.

Live in Mind, and see the best Life has to offer. It’s grand and glorious.

  1. Thank you so much Evan for this uplifting reminder that we can see through the eyes of God. For me, today’s thought for the day is a keeper to be printed off and read each day. As Mrs. Eddy in the glossary of Science and Health states: “Eyes. Spiritual discernment,–not material but mental.” So if we are looking through the eyes of God we will “see” and discern what is true always.
    Blessing to all,

  2. This message made me think of the idea of praying, trusting God and having the expectancy of good. I believe it is our divine right as children of God to see good. Expecting good prepares us to see only what is real, what is contained in Divine Mind, Divine Love — only good is found there. Thanks very much for preparation for a good day!

    1. Thank you VERY MUCH for enabling me to exchange suggestions of fear for expectancy of GOOD right now! These blogs, including comments and links to articles, are so full of inspiration, demonstrations, and eternal facts, I thank Evan and the Spirit View team with ALL MY HEART ❤

  3. Angie,
Thank you soo much for the article you shared today !! It was a big help to me and has given me many great thoughts to hang on to.

  4. Pg. 86:29-30 Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.
“Mortal mind sees what it believes as certainly as it believes what it sees.”
It’s so important to entertain only good.
Quantum physics, astrophysics reflect and experiment on this truth. I comes down to belief. Imaginations are only what we empower them to become.
The five physical senses cannot fathom the infinite. All the splendor of eternal Mind is here to be seen and realized, spiritually. Now and ever more. Visualize perfection ever present for everyone.
Absolute Truth heals a troubled world.
No mortals suffering. No problems. Nothing unlike good going on. Only God and His eternal manifestation of perfect man and perfect God. The ever presence of Spiritual Love.

  5. In U.S. sports, players will sometimes talk “smack or trash talk” to their opponent. This kind of talk is used to distract, intimidate, discourage, insult, boast, etc. It’s used to give a player a so-called upper hand. I often think of what kind of “smack and trash talk” I’m listening to through out the day. Is sense testimony trying to appear real – wanting to dupe and fool me into accepting it as real. And…how do I get out of this distracted way of thinking? In John Biggs article, “What is real?” it is comforting to read that we do have a choice and can “give it up to Mind” through yielding and surrendering; and that we have God-given dominion over what seems to be our own thinking. It is only the mortal mind, not divine Mind, which argues that man MUST have problems and suffering. The perfect reflection of God is not subject to any of these material concepts or laws, but is only under God’s government.

    1. Loved your comments about “talking trash.” Yes that is error’s currency, it tries to be very loud and abrasive and discouraging to frighten us and mainly to distract us from the Truth, from the now, from this moment where we can see that we are, as you said, all and always under God’s government.

Thanks for the article; the link does not work for those who don’t subscribe to the periodicals. But appreciate the sharing.

      1. Thank you Angie, Rose and Uta. I had saved the link as a PDF file, but there didn’t seem to be a way to attach it.

  6. Thank you Angie for this article today. I enjoyed it! Aren’t we all keen to meet our maker, God; to know us closer and closer to Him/Her and loving our Father-Mother God with all our heart?! Understanding and expressing the everpresent, all powerful GOOD God, enables us to meet our Maker!
Such an abundance of spiritual ideas are pored into our heart and understanding from all the comforting and healing spiritual views, Evan is giving us so lovingly.
    Thanks a lot dear Evan!♡
I chose to see abundance in health and being productive with divine strength.
During the day I did not feel well. And I had to go to our Wednesday meeting. When it was time I drove to church. Sitting there I thought about the spiritual idea of church and the guests. After I read something metaphysical about it, I found this thought healing and loving, I. e. Listener and church are coexisting as one. The listener is the spiritual body of the church. And church is the healing Christ in action, the divine Spirit in action! After I thought about that I felt good . And it is worth to overcome a sort of lazyness or believing that I feel not well enough to go to church. I love the truth from the Bible “I can do everything through Christ who gives me strength and power” (spiritual energy). So in this sense.
Wow the SpiritViews including the comments are always very helpful and also healing! Deep thanks to Evan and commenters!♡♡♡

    1. How lovely, Uta! The Christ is the only consciousness ever given to us because God, infinite Mind, is the ONLY bestower of Consciousness. EVER!

“The anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but even as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye abide in Him.” (1 John 2:27)
