    1. WOW is right, Ken!!

      Great Poem-Reminder
to put ALL our trust in Truth’s ALLness,
and watch the Jericho’s of Belief…
      topple!!

      Thanks you!

      (Got any more poems?)

      1. You mention Jericho, – here’s a favourite poem I like for the last two lines https://kencooperpoetry.com/the-fall-of-jericho/
“There is no problem that won’t go
        I just remember Jericho”
Rather than regretting having to march round the fortress city, each day was building up with the seven synonyms for God, with the expectation of victory, not the questioning of why are doing this. Regret is doubt of future good. I AM THAT I AM is the confidence of present good.

    2. Thank you Evan and Ken for helping us realize that regret is not what our loving Father Mother God wants for His/Her beloved children. Each day we have exactly what’s needed. The manna and water from a rock show us we are always cared for and throughly loved. We are reflecting God and nothing but each of the 7 synonyms He/She represents. I love to look at the attributes of each synonym and see how each of them are reflected by others. Thank you Ken for sharing your lovely poem with us today.

  1. Thank you, Evan, for this excellent message to leave regrets of the past
behind and thank you, Ken, for the lovely poem and photo.
I think, to know we’ve done our best and to move forward and express
the Now is what is most important. For Now is really all there is. Now, ..
with our True Being in God’s perfection, lifts the fog of the past into a brand
    new day… of God’s reflection.

“You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide
not to be reduced by them.” – Maya Angelou

  2. Today’s message reminded me of a quote from Mrs. Eddy regarding the unreality of a mortal view of past, “The human history needs to be revised, and the material record expunged.” (Retrospection and Introspection).

Thanks Evan for the good advice to focus on doing what’s right today. What’s right for me is to keep my awareness on the everywhere-ness of God. “Thy hand in all things I behold and all things in Thy hand.” (Hymn 134)

Yesterday you mentioned knocking out error with spiritual truth. An image popped into thought of a large baseball bat with the word TRUTH emblazoned on it, and I am pounding error with this bat until it is utterly destroyed. Then I drop the bat and walk happily away surrounded in God’s loving embrace.

    1. Thank you, dear Rose, for sharing Hymn 134 with us. It truly is very lovely
      and comforting…
and dear J , thank you for the article. Very profound and inspiring. Especially
from the article, “The better [we] understand God and [our] relationship to
[our] divine Father-Mother the more peace [we] would feel. That is such a
good declaration of Truth and so soothing.

    1. Oh, this is so helpful. Dealing with a similar situation this week. Lots of remorse and regret that if I’d known, I’d been able to help.

    2. Thank you for this article J. It underlined the fact that even those who seem cruel confused or unsympathetic in this material existence will follow a spiritual path and experience Life eternal at some point. No one is deprived of Gods loving care. Jesus didn’t come to do the work for us…but has shown us the way , the bible inspired MBE to write down the principal of the Comforter,, Christian Science. I feel privileged to study these teachings ,but I never forget those who are still in a dark place. Prayers for our world and its people are so needed.

Man, whose senses are spiritual, is my likeness. He reflects the infinite understanding, for I am Infinity. The beauty of holiness, the perfection of being, imperishable glory,—all are Mine, for I am God. I give immortality to man, for I am Truth. I include and impart all bliss, for I am Love. I give life, without beginning and without end, for I am Life. I am supreme and give all, for I am Mind. I am the substance of all, because I am that I am .”
      No past…just NOW.❣️

  3. Thank you, Evan and everyone! Divine Love is our constant, forever Comforter and reaches each one’s thought right where they are, right now–and ALWAYS!

  4. Sometimes we seem to think of ourselves as a compilation of all of our past
histories.. perhaps the challenges we had as children, as adults … as this or that –
For example, we are the way we are because — — (fill in the blanks)…because
what has been done to us as children, (perhaps forced to do things against our
principles), … how we were treated by other adults, traumas we’ve experienced in
life, having a young student who lost a parent in an auto accident that he, himself
seemingly was extremely hurt in, having a close classmate lose his hand after a
mishap, seeing someone we love – waste away in hospice and pass on, etc., etc. etc.
…as material mortal belief tries to go on and on, with various descriptions of episodes
that try to define us or limit us, or have us regret, as to who We are.
But in Reality – in the Real Truth of our spiritual being, none of these things really do
define us or confine us into a prison of being within the captivity of a mortal body.
Our Real identity is always, has always been and always will be – Spiritual.
And because that is who We are, that is who Everyone we know or have always known,
is, also, as Children of God, despite what the material senses seem to tell us about Our
or their True identity. So, therefore, we really can not have any regrets, because God
    knows of no regrets.
