“It is better to offer no excuse than a bad one.”

~ George Washington

No excuse is best of all!

What’s the truth? That’s the important question.

  1. Yes very true. We have to take the responsibility of doing and performing any job that we take up. Making excuses does not speak well at all, since what we need to do has to be done and done well. Even if some emergency comes up, instead of giving an excuse one can always apologize and ensure to give better results soon.
Thanks Evan for this reminder of “No excuse is best of all”. Deeply grateful for all the inspirations sent regularly.

  2. No one gets thru this life without making mistakes. We need to have deep compassion for ourselves and each other when we realize that we could have done better. Then we press on and look for the lesson and the blessing from our “so-called mistakes.” There are no mistakes in God’s Kingdom – just learning lessons!

  3. Great advice! Just a “I’m sorry” and doing whatever needs to be done to make things right is all that is needed.

  4. I agree with Bill. Honesty is the best policy. Maybe silence if the truth is too painful for another to hear.
