“Don’t be afraid,” (John 6:20) Jesus said to his disciples as he approached their boat during a storm at sea. Christ says the same to all humanity today. “Don’t be afraid. I am here!”
Christ is with us. Christ is here to save us from trouble.
Christ is the power and presence of God at work in our being giving us strength, health, inspiration, and guidance to know what to do next and how best to do it. We are never alone.
Walk fearlessly with Christ! Fear not with Christ.
As the Psalmist reminds us, “Praise the Lord! How joyful are those who fear the Lord and delight in obeying his commands…They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the Lord to care for them. They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly” (Psalm 112:1,7,8, NLT).
To “fear the Lord,” is to honor and respect God’s power and presence.
Waste no mental energy in mindless unnecessary fear. Honor God’s presence instead. Love God’s presence. Embrace it and let it embrace you.
Live fearlessly. It’s your divine right.

“Fear not” sounds like a command when in fact it is a blessing.. because Jesus follows immediately with the reassurance “I am with you.”
When we feel deeply loved we are fearless because the two cannot mix anymore than can hatred and love co-exeist. So when tempted to fear I open wide the gate and try to let love in with the knowledge that God has infinite resources to bless mankind.. And I am ready for that blessing..
A friend of mine once commented she thought of me as fearless. It was the best compliment. But more importantly it was reassuring to know my light was shining bright.
When I read this message my first thought was the word ‘freedom’…that is freedom from anything that opposes the Truth of our spiritual , harmonious being.
Again, Violet Hay inspires us with the beautiful words of hymn 136..
‘I love thy way of freedom Lord, to serve thee is my choice,
In Thy clear light of Truth I rise, and listening for Thy voice
I hear Thy promise old and new, that bids all fear to cease;
My presence still shall go with thee and I will give thee peace.
Though storm or discord cross my path, Thy power is still my stay,
Though human will and woe would check, my upward soaring way;

In 1 Kings 19 God showed Elijah three so-called forces of nature: a storm, an earthquake and a fire. God was not in any of these, so they could not touch or harm Elijah. It says that after the fire, there was the still small voice of God. We love and bless you and your family and neighbors.

A dear practitioner from Laguna Beach shared with me a remarkable healing when she and her husband lived in an area of CA that needed to evacuate from a raging wildfire years ago.
The flames were practically at their doorstep. As they left, they never expected to find anything on their return. They went to stay with family. The next day, they saw their home on the news as no one was allowed to return to the neighborhood yet. It was the only house left standing. They had not been able to sleep and had prayed through the night. When they were allowed to return, everything was intact. The phone was ringing and Christian Science students were calling to say how they read about the fires and were supporting them. So glad you reached out. Just know you have that support from all who read this and people you do not even know. Expect the blessings that come from fiery trials and united prayer.
At this moment hymn 144 comes to mind that we ” live and move and breathe” in the atmosphere of Gods love. Praying for you friend and all affected.

In the glossary of Science and Health, Mary Baker Eddy’s first definition of fire is fear. Perfect Love casts out fear. God knows no fear. There is no rampant fear in the Divine Mind. Today we can know that right where the fire seems to be is the profoundly tender, peaceful, harmonious, powerful action of Divine Love. All that are seemingly affected will be benefited by this knowing. Blessings and love to SpiritView Fan and the community.

That tenacious belief masqueraded as Christian Science over generations but remains nothing but the so-called human mind’s ‘mental science’ and that which was Mrs. Eddy’s great concern:
