Christian Science teaches the Science of being, not the Science of what was or will be.
The Science of being explains that we are God’s perfect creation now! That Life is not something that happens in the future. It’s what’s happening between us and God now.
The human mind often worries about the future, wondering what will come, what problems might arise and what dangers to watch out for. This kind of thinking would deny the Science of being reality by denying the presence of God to keep all things proper in the current moment.
The Science of being focuses on what is true this instant with God.
God is here. God is All. God is good. God is Love.
God’s infinite Love is present to meet every human need this moment. Accepting this truth and living it, is the Science of being.
When we mentally dwell in the Science of being, we experience more of God’s being here and now. Solutions appear. Joy arises. Healing happens.
The Science of being is not better tomorrow than it is today. It’s perfect today!
The Science of being was not lost yesterday through accident or mishap. It’s present today!
Live in the Science of being and prosper. You lack nothing. You have everything. Be sure to live like it!

Great to know “the Science of being” is the ONLY reality of life as God created it.
Now IS THE DAY OF SALVATION. The day I can feel absolutely whole, perfect, guided, and loved.
Yesterday two things happened where discord was silenced with harmony, Every need was met. First a large tree over two stories high fell in our backyard, when a summer thunder storm came through. I prayed . My husband and I, me calm, him disturbed, decided to leave it in the woods, because it had not fallen on our deck and damaged.it. Second my husband discovered water on our basement floor. He did not know if it was the water heater or the water softener next to it. I prayed. He called the water softener company under duress to figure out the problem, and after talking to four people a water softener serviceman came to our home last night to help. He did not charge us. It was the water heater. Calm came again to my husband’s disturbed thought. I prayed. Today he will call the other company, and I am confident the leak will get fixed. Oh how I love Mary Baker Eddy’s words from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, page 506 “”The calm and exalted thought or spiritual apprehension is at peace.”
What a wonderful way to stop any meandering mortal thought. I appreciate how definitive and positive your explanations are Evan…leaving no room for doubt ….bringing our consciousness in line with what is true, demonstrable and permanent.

This is a very helpful and positive message. I confess to being a bit of a worrier, especially about the future, but I am learning to stay calm and keep my thought gentle. Barbara I too was going to mention the line from I John. My practitioner often says “Beloved NOW!”

Love this, Evan. I just read a Journal article by Nate Talbot that brought home the same point that we should claim are timeless perfection, the nowness of our perfection right now. We do not have to wait for healing. Our health, wealth and joy are innate to us RIGHT NOW!

My husband and I are going through a situation involving the selling our house. Our situation has defied all that is written about house sales, inventory, prices, etc. Now this is not the first time things have not gone along with the traditional wisdom about something. The final outcome has often been something not even imagined and better. I was just reading this morning about prayer and how to stay in the present which is already perfect and good. God is.

Dear Evan, thank you very much! How utmost valuable all your healing SpiritViews are, leading us safely through this special time. It helps me very much to conquer seeming fear and the error. And I learned so very much about the divine Truth that makes us free! Theoretically we as a nearly life long Christian Scientist know a lot. But these SpiritViews are like treatments and refreshing lessons which bring us utmost close to the freeing Truth which is God!

How so very comforting is it, that God is here, God is all, God is good, God is Love and that we can know that God is careing for us and meeting all our needs!
