  1. May our choices reflect our leaning on God and humbly trusting His guidance, not on letting error distract us into a state of false fear.. I can tell the difference — one feels open and freeing, the other feels small and contracted.

    1. wow, true Rose, thank you!
Thanks Evan, here you give us something to ponder and think about and choose the correct choice; in any case the divine, ,the God directed!!!

    2. Thank you Rose… I appreciated ypur description of the contrasting feelings… “ a state of false fear.. I can tell the difference — one feels open and freeing, the other feels small and contracted.”

  2. Thank you Evan…this made me look up a bible verse
Isaiah 26 verses 3/4 in the CEV. ( contemporary English. Version)
The Lord gives perfect peace to those whose faith is firm
So always trust the Lord because he is forever our mighty rock.

Then our choices are substantial, positive and rewarding ❣️

  3. Thank you Rose from New York, and Barbara UK for your helpful comments.

This citation from the Bible comes to mind about choice:

“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.”
    (Deuteronomy 30:19, 20)

It seems to me that as God is the only Life, and He is forever blessing us, we only have one
choice, because God knows nothing of anything unlike Himself who is our Life.

  4. Thanks Evan:
Each day I have tried with my whole heart resonate more on God’s Love for his creation. But in these semminly trying times when things seems so horrendous and disrupted, if our belief is not firm in His understanding we become fearful and drawn in material beliefs. “Dear Father give me the courage to overcome such beliefs.

    1. Lorna, you can trust God fully! He is lovingly caring for you! I just found in the Bibel in Mathew 7: 7 + 8 the following promisses of God to his child (you): “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you; For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” That means that God is giving you whatever you need, even if it is a better spiritual understanding! With Love to you!

  5. Although the subject is vast there is only one that feels right. When looking at the present material scene one has to hold on tight to the truth of being. In light of all the disruptions ”God is not mocked” Be still and know that I Am.

  6. In the past, I’ve had the experience of worrying, then getting hung up in my own fears & doubts; all this has done us close my hearing & sight- my spiritual consciousness, my discernment — of Good at work. God, GOOD, is ALWAYS at work in our lives. God is Ever Active, Ever nigh, as we’re assured in the week’s Bible Lesson. We are One With God. As I’m improving my remembering thus, immediately acknowledging that EVERYTHING is IN God’s Hands, working out perfectly, there is no worry. I put this into practice yesterday when my emerald ring wasn’t tucked into my purse, where I thought I had just placed it after taking it off… quietly I simply KNEW that I’d be led to where it was… oh yes! Now I remember! I had stopped on my way in to play with the doggie in the yard! There it was, in the grass: I spotted it immediately in the wide stretch of ground where our malamute was romping! Of course. Another simple affirmation that my mind is God’s Mind. No doubt!

  7. This morning’s topic resonates with me so loudly, but yet
with such gentleness like a newly fallen snow. The above
photo, so beautiful, in it’s pristine nature, compliments my
thought this morning, where I woke up, thinking of taking a
new approach, a new perspective on an issue I am dealing
with. When I first looked at this lovely photo, I only saw
the one path on the right. Upon looking at it again, I realized
what I thought was a shadow from a tree was actually
Another path. So often, we are fooled with illusions that
just aren’t true, but changing our viewpoint is the solution
we need. Thank you so much, Evan, for this simple, but yet
profound quote and for all the corresponding comments. I
    truly am grateful.

  8. What a great observation Carol. We can’t go wrong with listening to God; The one Mind directing us. A simple example was I was to meet a group of friends and they were not where I expected them to be. I had forgotten my phone in rushing and running late. I said out loud God tell me where they are and a place came to me. I wondered if it was just too obvious a choice, starting to doubt, and as I was driving I saw the daughter of one of the friends walking her dog. She had a phone and called her mother and they were at the place that came to me in God’s message. You can never go wrong with choosing the right path. Thanks Evan
    Love to all.

  9. Thank you Evan. One has no choice to make but that which pleases God. This always leads to a peaceful and glorious end.. Thanks to you all, for your beautiful contributions.

  10. To every single one of the commenters above, leave doubt behind, and only listen . . .really listen to where the God’s thought is leading you. Healing can come even if the physical person is not conscious, one thought, God directed at a time. Look at the healing of Buffalo’s football player, who laid down on the field after being tackled (he rose up from the tackle), but who was leaning on his LIFE,his physical functions returned to normal, as the entire stadium stood quiet and still praying for him although those responding on the field were treating him for his heart stopping. He went to the hospital, regained his faculties, after one thought at a time, revived, and healed him. Today, I drove past the CSReading Room, where I passed by a body on the ground, with two people attending someone facing down and fallen. I swung around the round-about, to return to stop and help. By the time i passed the same person, she was standing, talking to the other two who were assisting, so I continued to pray, one thought at time, loving God’s lifting the fallen up, restored, upright and free. As Ajayi commented above, “this always leads to a peaceful and glorious end.”

    1. What beautiful trust and guidance and your ring was revealed clearly to you in that great wild area out there.
I had a similar help from Divine Mined, when the diamond was lost from my engagement ring.
It took a long PAUSE-Wait on God, and trust, and prayer when I stopped searching for matter , and stood still. Then I was in the kitchen, and looked down. There it was right betwen my feet!
What thankfulness and rejoicing!!! Thank You God!
