Mothers are extra special

May 8, 2015 | 13 comments

Different people have different experiences with their moms, but I’m inclined to believe that most moms are good moms who genuinely care for their children and want to see the best for them.

Being a good mom is truly one of the most unselfish activities in the world, but also one of the most rewarding.

Here’s a cute video clip you might enjoy with a humorous take on looking at mom from a child’s point of view. It’s also a reminder that mom’s do what they do because they want to, not because they’re looking for any credit or kudos from others. Truly…unselfish.

  1. How tender, dear, and innocent! Thank you, Evan! I’m forwarding it to everyone!! Happy Mithers Day to all of us, moms, dads, and all who cherish children!!

  2. Thank you Evan. Touched by today’s post. Have shared with many.
And on behalf of mothers every where …
“Keep Thou my child on upward wing tonight.”

  3. My feeling is that the most important job in this world is being a parent. No higher we can go for the child is a reflection of that parents ideals. In order for this to occur the parent must be influenced by the right understanding of his/hers relationship to God and thereby inspiring the child to reflect that relationship. Mothers give off the love and compassion needed to reflect that relationship. My own mother made it clear to me that EVERY DAY IS MOTHER’S DAY.

  4. What a delightful video – thanks so much. Mother’s Day is a day of conflicting thoughts as I had a mother that didn’t want me and never showed any affection even up to the day she left this earth and beyond (a long story). But I was determined to be a very good mother to my only child and am so deeply grateful to have an extremely loving and thoughtful daughter.

    HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY TO ALL!

  5. Very tender. Just think as much love as we see in this video, it represents only a tiny fraction of God’s dear love for each of us. Blessings to all!

  6. This brought tears to my eyes, as I have just lost my son. But the message is just as dear. thank you Evan for sharing.

  7. I’m deeply grateful for both my my mother and my daughter. My mother’s unselfish guidence and sacrifice during my growing years acts as a cushion of nourishment for present day challenges. The videos are very heart warming…thank you Evan.

  8. Thank you Evan for sharing this wonderful video! I love being a mom. I’m so grateful to have such wonderful, caring “adult” children. I wouldn’t change the whole experience for anything. Such a blessing!!
