No end in sight

Don’t worry about the world coming to an end today.

It’s already tomorrow in Australia.

~ Charles Schultz

If you ever get worked into a frenzy of fearing “the end is near” for your career, your money, a relationship, your health, or even your life, remember, there is always an “Australia!” There is always a “tomorrow” happening already. God’s good never ends.

Life is eternal, and so are its blessings.

Error ends, but Truth does not.

Stay in the realm of Truth and let God’s good continue to unfold in your life in ever-new, progressive and awe-inspiring ways!

  1. Over my 64 years I have heard the world is coming to end on certain day many times. Those days have come and gone and the world is still here.

I do believe that there will be a new heaven and new earth someday, but that is something to look forward to and not to fear.

  2. I just finished watching the end of the world thriller, “2012” and then went on line and saw Evan’s topic. It is interesting to note that towards the end of the last century, a terrific scare was shown on the news media. How will the computers start with the year 2000. Oh boy, they really scared every body except me. In my C/S Reading Room was a very old dictionary that actually had the meaning of “END OF THE WORLD” and one of the meanings was that it meant “END OF AN ERA.” So all of these so called doomsday predictions just means an old era is being upgraded to a new era. And that is the prayer that I used then, and that’s the prayer I am using now.

  3. That was really good!! It reminds me of a thought I pass along to some of my pessimistic friends that always think I am too optimistic. I tell them “I would rather be optimistic and be wrong, than to be pessimistic and be right”!! Not real Christianly Scientific but they get the point!!! Isn’t it funny how predictions are always BAD. Hardly anyone predicts GOOD!!! Jesus did, and His disciples did, but the world couldn’t stand the good news. During the year 2000 computer conversion referenced above, I was in the IT business and made a lot of money managing the software conversions!! See what I mean about optimism?
