How one woman lost her fear of cancer and was healed

September 5, 2014 | 6 comments

Cancer is not the reality it appears to be. Some people learn this lesson in different ways. Anita Moorjani is one of those people.

Moorjani had a near death experience that changed her thinking to such a degree, that she saw through the lie of cancer and was healed of an end-stage diagnosis.

Ingrid Peschke writes about Anita’s experience in her article, “Dying to Be Me Author, Anita Moorjani, on Healthy, Fearless Living,” for the Huffington Post.

Here is Moorjani’s solution for less disease in the world:

“We spend billions of dollars on campaigns for early cancer detection, machines, drugs, awareness, etc.,” she said. “Yet has the number of people getting cancer gone down? No, it’s gone up. That’s because we’re too focused on disease.”

Her solution? “Imagine if we spent the same billions of dollars, and instead focused on what wellness is — what is joy, what is love? If we had ad campaigns on that, and taught doctors to help their patients look for what it means to be healthy rather than looking for cancer, wouldn’t we see a completely different world?”

  1. Yes, you are absolutely right, Anita. My mother used to tell me as a little boy, and way before C/S came into our lives; “If you look for evil, you’ll experience it. Rather look for joy.”

  2. Thank you for sharing the actual article instead of just discussing it. I love all the diverse avenues you use for your blog. Mrs. Moorjani’s experience was gratifying and another example of what spiritualized thought can do. Love and gratitude are so powerful.

  3. Thank you. My daughter called me this morning to tell me a sweet lady we both know has cancer. She asked for prayers. I’m wondering if she might like to read Anita’s . She is not a Christian Scientist. The lady is very spiritual.

  4. Here’s the scoop: Anita was given only a few hours more to live and had a NDE during which she experienced unconditional love. And awakened healed, Love is what did it. Mrs. Eddy says “If the Scientist reaches his patient through divine Love, the healing work will be accomplished at one visit…. ” (S&H, 365)
