  1. don’t quite get it. Like gods law of adjustment – make a decision based on our highest sense of right, and we are still free to change our minds if things are pointing differently? Or, we need to keep improving???

  2. To answer Anonymous; I don’t believe that’s what it means. My understanding is that if one is improving to the point that pleases oneself to where one feels accomplishment. That’s that. Months may pass, years may pass and the feeling of the previous accomplishment may no longer be seen as fitting, then one strives for something better. For example, the invention of the movie. Silent Pictures was unique, WOW! Then came sound, 29 years after. Another WOW! Then came Television. But in each era, there was a great feeling of accomplishment.

  3. Barton’s quote is to the human mind that often gets stuck in a rut, cemented in routine and repeating habits without thought. From a scientific point of view, human thought needs to keep changing until it is absolutely free of all material limits, bonds and constraints. If one gets stuck in a material pattern that becomes mindless repetition void of fresh inspiration, it’s time for a change! A change of view, perspective, or something spiritual to keep moving down the road of progress.

  4. alright – always changing from a material sense of things to the real spiritual sense of being – get it!! thanks!

  5. Plan C, then Plan D, Plan Z, Plan AA, Plan BB, etc., etc., etc.

    I’m now calling it Neverendingbeginnings!
