Do you start your day remembering all the blessings you have to be grateful for? They are many…
For eternal Life, which gives you unending opportunity to experience all of God’s good at some moment throughout all of eternity.
For eternal Life again, because that means death will not end anything good for you. Only evil has an ending.
For ever-present Love, because that means no matter how dire circumstances appear, Love is going to get you out of it.
For absolute Truth, because that means no matter how aggressive a liar is, their lies will be exposed, acknowledged and defeated.
For permanent spiritual health, because that means no matter how real a disease looks, it’s temporal and destined to disappear.
For spiritual sense, because that means you have the ability to mentally and physically see beyond pictures of lack, disease and suffering to the reality of Spirit that dissolves those error-views and replaces them with supply, health and harmony.
For God, which gives you a power greater than any person, event or thing on this earth to turn to and be saved from any type of suffering.
For omnipotent Good, because that means all evil is a goner.
And there are many more items you could add to this list.
You are very blessed! Be sure to remember how blessed you are.
What a wonderful uplifting post. Thank you for this lovely reminder of all that is right with Life.
For Soul which enables us to enjoy all the art and music in the universe; for Principle which means it’s all in order.
Thank you Evan !
That’s what I needed to read today 🙂
Hugs !
thank you for the countdown (up?) of blessings.
A great reminder again, thank you Evan. From the Christian Science Hymnal Hymn 250 reads; “Our gratitude is riches, Complaint is poverty…”
What a wonderful way to start your day!
Thanks, Evan
I count your posts as one of my blessings. They are so uplifting and healing. Much gratitude for the encouragement and support they offer.
I love the fresh way these truths are expressed. This is a keeper.
In last weeks Bible Lesson on Man, I loved reading in Leviticus about man’s true status of being with “no complaining in the streets.” Gratitude to God cancels out complaining! This article is AWESOME, Evan. One to ponder and put into practice. I especially love:”For omnipotent Good because that means all evil is a goner.” What a profound truth to pray with for world events.
I loved that line of “no complaining in the steets” too, Grace. Affirming that truth goes a long way for supporting world peace.
For amazing ways to receive God’s angels–thoughts like these–no matter where I now live!
wow !! that is dynamite !! thanks !!!
I will print this wonderful list out and keep it by my bedside to read before I go to sleep at night and when I wake up each day. When I read this I am awed and humbled by my blessings. Thank you for sharing your inspiring thought with us, Evan 🙂
Thank you for this Evan – I can’t begin to tell you how much the truths expressed in each of those statements has helped me today to resist discouragement and steadfastly know , accept and trust God’s goodness and love for each of us – I know I’m blest all the time. I loved the Gratitude List you published on your blog some time ago – I often go back to it – with gratitude !
What a way to completely end discouragement.
Thank you so much Evan. The things you listed can never be taken away! I agree with Anita, that your blog is tops on my gratitude list.
Thank you so much for this wonderful article. I have a gratitude journal to remind myself everyday of how abundantly I am provided for and for all my blessings. This article is awesome, thank you again for always providing such inspiration.
Thank you, Evan, for this inspiring reminder. Just what I needed today!
As my great-grandma used to pray before meals: “Thank you, Lord, for this bountiful goodness!”
Thanks Evan – a great way to start my day!
…in addition to no complaining in the streets, I have loved in this week’s lesson, too, how Moses put down the murmurings of the people. I felt this type of gratitude today! Things were not going well and I was tempted to believe in Murphy’s Law. BUT, this thought of gratitude came and that I could reject anything but the law of good! And the whole day turned around and much progress and blessing resulted. Great ideas, Evan. I too like how they were phrased.
