  1. SH 259:6 ~ “The divine nature was best expressed in Christ Jesus, who threw upon mortals the truer reflection of God and lifted their lives higher than their poor thought-models would allow, — thoughts which presented man as fallen, sick, sinning, and dying.”
A beautiful way to preach. <3

    1. This is a beautiful reminder that whoever we are, wherever we are, we have many opportunities to spread the gospel with our actions.

    1. if you are the dear Julia Wade, who is one of the solo singer of The Motherchurch, then I thank you very much for your singing. I have a CD with you bought in our reading room. 🙂

And that is true, singing loud out words of Christ, Healing and God`s Love and care for His loved Ones (all creation) joyfully is also a lovely and healing sort of preaching the Gospel with Words, as Evan writes in today`s SpiritView!

Thank you Evan, to shed light on today`s toppic, through all the interesting comments so we can understand “Preaching the Gospel with Words” better and more clear. Am grateful for this so blessing SpiritView-Blog!! 😉

  4. Great! We preach the gospel through our smiles, our caring acts, our kind words, our patience, our humility, and seeing others as God sees them. This “preaching” is noticed by others. It is letting our light shine!

  5. Shared with me recently…just like you are aware of a fragrance when you enter a room so too is what we hold in thought. What fragrance are we “wearing “? How do we want to “perfume” the air?

  6. Hi, here some other ideas matching to the upper title “Spread the gospel with your works”.

For instance as reader you do it, whether it is on sunday or wednesday.
Mrs Eddy says that reading is and important and vital part for the welfare of mankind – so in that sense.

Preparing prayerfully and inviting your town to a CS lecture – that is exactly spreading the gospel with our works and words.

And of course giving the public free CS literature via a free literature box in front of the church or in railwaystations, as we do it in Hamburg.

Am grateful that we learn to listen to God`s ideas which is the most effective spreading of the gospel!
