Sticking to a healthy diet

May 18, 2022 | 11 comments

Are you concerned about what you eat? Fearful of the food choices you make?

In this video, I share a spiritual approach to diet that can resolve those fears and lead to balanced, wise choices that keep you healthy and feeling good.

Don’t fill up on fear. Fill up on a diet of truth and love!

This vlog was filmed at Lava Lake in the Gallatin National Forest in southern Montana, when my wife and I visited in August 2021.

  1. The morning vlog and Angie’s article ( I always think of Angie’s list of good thoughts) recall the phrase “with this be satisfied”.
Be satisfied watching God work in your life..
Watching God guide your every thought and action so they are in accord with Him..
What could be more satisfying than to be about our Father’s work…fulfilling His plan..rejoicing in His harvest of Love..

  2. Perfect timing- as always. When I got out of bed this morning I was going to make an effort to focus less on food. To be more aware of the importance of spiritual nourishment.
    Thank you both!!

    1. Yes I have also been thinking about spiritual nourishment. I listened to a talk by a retired Christian Science army chaplain (Janet Horton) in which she said she neither feared nor worshipped her food. That really got my attention. Apparently her diet was not what many would consider ”healthy” and her coworkers and superiors were baffled when her required medical tests always indicated she was in superior health. Her thought was so clear that she was not material. The whole talk was excellent, many adventures of healing during her army years.

      1. When I clicked to listen to today’s video it did not play and kept giving an error message. Did anyone else have this issue? I kind of laughed and thought we don’t have to believe “error messages.”

          1. RH I got the same error message on this link, but thank you for trying. It may be my phone, I’ll try on my laptop when I get home. Blessed day to everyone.

  3. Thank you Evan. I never leave Spirit View without a huge smile…Evan, you exude Love…thank you all commenters as well.

  4. LOVELY, LOVELY AND THOUGHTFUL MESSAGE. THANK YOU. NOTHING MORE IRRITATING THAN LECTURES ON WHAT OTHERS BELIEVE IS BETTER NUTRITION THAN YOU ARE GETTING. WELL MEANING USUALLY, BUT YOUR MESSAGE TODAY IS SO MUCH BETTER!

  5. I am not sure how others are able to watch video? I Love SV and I appreciate you and all. I will joyously expect progress on my ability to watch the video.
