Sufficiency

Here’s a link to a thoughtful blog posting titled, “The Surprising Truth of Sufficiency.” The author, Lynne Twist, doesn’t give credit to a divine source, but still offers some liberating views that help dissolve the belief that we always need more and can’t find enough at hand.

  1. Wonderful thoughts about sufficiency especially thinking about the disaster yesterday – There will be sufficient resources, sufficient help, etc. to meet the need. In the book “Christian Healer” about Mary Baker Eddy, there is a story about the man who supplied her milk and he said his well was dry and therefore his cow wouldn’t be able to supply her any longer. Her comment was that if he only knew that Love fills the well. The next day, his well was filled and there had been no rain. We must realize “Love (God) fills the well” in every instance. Vicki

  2. I love it when I see Truth working in our world, and, “outside” the Christian Science Movement!
It seems to me that sometimes we students of this wonderful, amazing Science forget that Truth is infinite…that there is no limit to Love’s ability to reach far, far into the seeming darkness of human thought and experience, to lift and lighten it, and to eradicate the falsities therein…even to those who have not yet had the privilege of knowing about and using the Word of God, found in the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures! We can know that nothing can stop God’s reaching each and every one of us, as God actually already is and does! Life, as we can and will see, IS GOOD, now!

:<)) Thanks for this blog, Evan!
