The benefits of gratitude

October 11, 2011 | 2 comments

It’s an old saying, but one worth repeating…
“Gratitude turns what we have into enough.”
And what do we have?  We have God’s wisdom, guidance, direction, and unfailing love.  That is always enough to meet any human need.
The divine supply doesn’t come from a material place or person.  It comes from Spirit, and is built into our being as part of our spiritual individuality.  We always have it.  But it’s important to be grateful for it so we can see it.
Gratitude is like turning a light on in a dark room.  The supply is always at hand, but ingratitude keeps thought from discerning it.  So, be sure to be grateful for what you already have.  It is enough!
The depth, breadth, height, might, majesty, and glory
of infinite Love fill all space. That is enough!”

  1. Thanks for flipping the light switch on for us this morning! I’m reminded that gratitude is not just thinking of our abundance and God’s gifts, but using them with joy. – Beth
