  1. Took me back…..I remember it well!
What a joyous start to the day, and how totally on message.

Some of the printed words are not completely accurate but you can clearly hear what they should be from his singing.

Thanks so much for sharing and reminding me of this from my childhood, Evan! This is a ‘keeper’!

  2. haha. thanks Evan, I know the Refrain, but not the other Text. At the end I just could understand like … start your day with God … turn the radio on.
Okay, to start my day with God, that’s enough and then follow! 🙂

    1. Belinda, grateful for your reminder of that hit song “Everything is Beautiful”, Brings back same memories that song evoked when I heard it while the radio station played it often. Lovely reminder!!!

  3. Thanks Evan, I don’t remember hearing that one. Ray Stevens built a big venue down the road from me in Nashville, TN. It’s called CabaRay.

    1. Yes DMK I was thinking the same thing. As I remember the lecture he demonstrates with a radio, turning it on and off, to show that the frequency, the communcation is always there always available, we just have to tune in to it. Also made me think of something I heard that there is only one station, WGOD, all God all the time.

Also want to mention that there was a comment left late yesterday on SV from LOL that I think we should address. Sounds like some hurt and confusion we could help with. They had a question about not seeing instantaneous healings in CS anymore and wondered if their past issues may have something to do with blockng it. Perhaps some SV love would help. Thanks.

    2. Yes DKM! Loved that lecture and his demonstration with the radio. Such a wonderful, clear example for us. Must listen again. ❣️

  4. What a lovely start to the day. The airwaves of Truth are all around us when we
turn our radio on, tune in and listen. Delightful! Thank you to you, Evan and the
Spirit View listener who shared it with you! : )

  5. Nearly every day, and for probably 90% of that time I’m out in the field(s) working. 90% of that time there is s song rolling through my head. Frequently a song from 60’s / 70’s. Well I just finished the first stage of work, and I can tell your song has taken front row seat ! Thank you much.

  6. Ray Stevens! I haven’t heard that name in a long time. What a wonderful song and fun video sharing. Thank you for sharing it with us all. I’m going to be bee-bopping into my day, turning my radio on.

  7. You can look up the entire correct lyrics to the music that Ray Stevens was singing to the song, “Turn Your Radio On”, written by Albert E. Brumley Sr.
    Album: Box Set
    Released: 2006
    Lyrics provided by Musixmatch

I copy paste the lyrics with yellow writing on black background with enlarged type into my iPhone notes so I can read them at the same time. I am playing DuckDuckGo or Firefox YouTube of him, singing the song with the backup band and singers.. I can then print out the lyrics and have them on a piece of paper wherever I go so I don’t have to be using up Wi-Fi or cell service and my phone receiver is ready to pick up incoming phone calls, etc.

  8. This song immediately made me think of the lecture that John from Orlando posted last week. In case you missed it, it’s an awesome lecture:

    An excerpt:

“Prayer is communion or communication with divine Mind. Each time that we align thought with the all-knowing, ever-present Mind we are, in effect, tuning in to the source of all intelligence. For example, you and I know that at this moment the room we’re seated in is filled with radio programs of all sorts — newscasts, music, interviews fill the air. But we’re not tuned in, and, although these programs are right here, we don’t hear them. It’s as simple as all that!
This tuning in is something like prayer. If one’s thinking is tuned in, or, shall we say, humbly receptive to what divine Mind is broadcasting to us every minute of the day, our thoughts are divinely uplifted.
Broadcasting is something all of us know at least a little about. We’ve all had the experience of static distorting the reception on our radios. Similarly, the subtle arguments of mortal mind thinking are like static in our prayers of communication with God. When the static of fear, doubt, confusion, or the temptations of sin and disease try to block out the divine reception, we need to deny these suggestions as unreal — not of God. We must stay strictly on the divine wavelength. The element of denial in prayer is the means of removing static, and we then hear divine Mind loud and clear.
Listening is a very important part of prayer. For some reason we always want to inform God, the all-knowing Mind, instead of letting God talk to us. I’ve found my best guidance and inspiration have come when I’ve just gotten my thinking quiet — very quiet — and let my heavenly Father, divine Mind, do the talking.”

  9. Yesterday.. I was singing to the Beach Boys.. thinking of God. or the Christ
“HE’S GIVIN’ ME GOOD VIBRATIONS…. with alot of… DO wa-diddty..
and having the joy of re-re-imagining lines whether walking through New York City or
    St Johns Newfoundland..
‘TALK ABOUT THE BOY WHO STILL WALKS ‘THROUGH’,…
    MAKIN’ ME GIDDY..”
    we’re all dancin’ ……

  10. Thank you for this, Evan – light-hearted but a good message.
Another good thing about this is that if we find the radio is
not tuned onto the right station, we can tune
it in, or turn it off.

  11. Thank you Evan for sharing this song. Also thank you J and DKM for sharing the lecture links.

  12. I remember this song! But, while I enjoyed the melody, I don’t remember ever really ‘hearing’ the words! I guess I didn’t have my radio on! I ‘heard’, but I wasn’t ‘listening’. A great lesson here!
