Understanding God as infinite

February 10, 2021 | 19 comments

Do you ever see limits, lack, boundaries, restrictions, or confinement? If so, perhaps it’s time to better understand God as infinite.

I share ideas in this video on how getting to know God is infinite opens doors to greater abundance and supply. With God, there are no dead ends or limits. Only boundless good!

I filmed this video while hiking in the Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada, in October of 2020.

  1. Evan what a great subject to share with us while you are inspired being out in the wide open spaces..
If I’m a little mortal in a limited space I will experience limited good.
However, as God’s immortal ( unrestricted ) idea I can sing and soar. I remember a poem by Doris Peel that included a phrase “I am God’s song sung out in joy today”.

  2. Wow..love this message today Evan, thank you …’his arm encircles me and mine and all ‘. No room for anything but good❣️

  3. Thank you,Evan, for this beautiful reminder of our true
Identity. I love the setting that you chose, It demonstrates how liberating knowledge of our infinite Father Mother God truly is. Infinity means no there no end or barriers to God’s loving provision to all His ideas: How powerful is this understanding of our Creator when mortal mind tempts us to believe that we live in a dangerous, limited, environment. Mrs. Eddy tells us “” time for thinkers has come.” We know with God all things are possible!

  4. What WOULD be beyond infinite? There have been moments I’ve seen infinite good, “all but that little place at the edge”, and with this Spirit View….I can replace that with God being infinite TOTALLY infinite, nothing lacking and no more space at the “imagined” edge. The Scientific Statement of Being helps me every moment to know this is true..

  5. Thank you Evan for this video. It really is Christian Science: “TO those leaning on the sustaining infinite, today is big with blessings” and , “The starting point in divine Science is that God is All-in-All, and that there is no other might nor Mind—that God is Love, and therefore divine Principle.” Science and Health, (vii and pg. 275)

  6. I just love you Evan! You always bring a smile.

When I was a little girl, contemplating infinity and the universe , I realized that if there was an end to it, a brick wall… what would be on the other side? I quit worrying about that, it just IS!

How wonderful to know that we live in God’s Universe. Infinite good, infinite unending love, infinite supply of ideas and guidance, Knowing that, all problems and fears dissolve. If God is good, does good have an end, a limit? If God is Love, does Love have a limit, does Mind have an end? Can God be good and bad at the same tine if love is infinite? Can there be any thing else but that which we call God? I give up, I surrender!

  7. Thank you for this message, and a timely one for me too, Evan! It is so helpful to hear this in the morning, starting my day off with this message to soar, instead of sink, and to watch more closely to allow and keep the soaring thoughts, and bar entrance of the sinking ones.

In response to John Q’s Response above, months ago the inner-voiced (God’s message) message came to me: “I am the Song that God is Singing.” Thank you for the reminder!

  8. In Science and Health,in the chapter Creation, Mary Baker Eddy refers to the real man and the infinite range of his thought. And as thought expands “multitudinous objects of creation which before were invisible, will become visible.” This entire chapter is one of my favorites to read and ponder for glimpses into the vastness, continuity, and ever expanding nature of divine Mind. This is the Mind that belongs to us all!

Thank you Evan for your thought provoking and inspiring vlog today!

  9. Loved the photo up at the top, for me it really captured that feeling of infinity, endless Good. Also reminded me of timelessness, which is another aspect of infinity. Thanks Evan.

Several comments on singing — the beautiful idea that all of us together constitute the harmonious song that God is always singing. Singing is always uplifting. We are never SINKING, change one letter, we are SINGING and we are the song. Beautiful day of infinite good to all!

  10. Thank you very very much, Evan. When you declare the Truth like today the infinity of our good God, it is so absolutely understandable that our Life in God is infinite, without beginning and without end. This week`s lesson sermon says that “man coexists with and reflects Soul, God …” (SH p. 120:5). So I understand, if God is infinity, man, coexisting with God reflects God`s infinity. That is so comforting!

I am very happy to daily receive your inspiring and healing SpiritView, and I love your Vlogs, hearing your nice voice! Am grateful also for the lively comments.!
