Wealth that continues to multiply

October 6, 2022 | 16 comments

With inflation running rampant around the world, millions of people fear diminishing wealth. What is worth one hundred dollars today is worth far less a few months from now. What to do?

One successful approach is to demonstrate wealth that never diminishes in value no matter what the inflation rate happens to be.

True wealth is spiritual. It comes from God in the form of wisdom, intelligence, creativity, ingenuity, discipline, temperance, foresight, and insight. Each moment is our opportunity to welcome real wealth into our experience and act on its presence.

Wealth from God never runs out. It multiplies. God is an infinite Mind, which means there is infinite wisdom, intelligence, ingenuity, and so forth, flowing from God to each of us every moment to act on and see profitable results.

Divine Mind never runs out of good ideas that help and heal.

To stay ahead of inflation and defeat any ill effect from it, demonstrate real wealth in action. Live richly. Use your God-given resources abundantly, and watch the benefits multiply without end.

“It is a good thing to receive wealth from God and the good health to enjoy it (Eccl. 5:19, NLT).

  1. Love the tall straight upright trees today Evan, reaching for the light. That light is understanding the omniscience of God as our lives. Thank you Evan for these helpful thoughts today. It is , as always our knowledge of God that brings us health, wealth and happiness eternally. We are always in His abundant arms. I’m so grateful to know Soul is true substance❣️

  2. Thank you for this. I have been specifically challenging the suggestion of lack in my experience and in prayer became aware of how subtly invasive it claims to be. As I set to work refuting these lies about God’s priceless ever-abundance, I went on with my day which included redecorating a guest room. I had passed on a particular item for the room because of its price, but then I realized I was engaging in lesser thinking. I specifically refuted long-held notions about worth and money specifically and expansive thoughts filled my consciousness. Later in the day, I stopped in at a used furniture store on a separate mission and was delighted to find the item I had passed on as too expensive in my on-line shopping, used but in perfect condition. I joyfully thanked God for leading me straight to it in so unexpected a way, but more than that, I thanked Her for the precious treasure of knowing She is my life; “I shall not fear.” My bounty is secure.

    1. Thank you Dawn, for sharing that beautiful demonstration of God’s ever listening and watching over us, knowing us, loving us, and how when we tune in our thoughts to His Word, His Truth, we hear (see evidence) of our Mother-Father God communicating to us, lovingly caring for us, children.

    1. Angie, thank you for sharing this article. Renewal is a concept being spoken about a lot in the Christian world these days – renewing the church to the old revival days. The author, George Millar, nails it – renewal. “The real man needs no renewal, but we need to renew daily our true consciousness of the harmony, health, freedom and well-being that constitute our true nature.”

    2. Thank you dear Angie for that artical “Renewal & Substance”. It is very uplifting and helpful!
This passage stood out for me: “The real man needs no renewal, but we need to renew daily our true consciousness of the harmony, health, freedom and well-being that constitute our real nature.” That is our daily prayerful work for ourself.

By the way – lovely foto up here!

  3. When working as expatriates in Africa our earnings were constantly under threat of inflationary pressures. This situation very quickly turned around when I clearly understood this statement by Mrs Eddy:
On page 255 of the Christian Science text-book, “Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures,” She says: “Mortal man has made a covenant with his eyes to belittle Deity with human conceptions. In league with material sense, mortals take limited views of all things.”

  4. This delightful Divine message has guided and blessed me and others. Generously give God all the credit and S/He supplies the cash.

  5. Many years ago, our little family was staying in a city about a day’s journey away. We were very short on cash and this was before we had credit cards. I put it in God’s hands. Later that day, I found a twenty dollar bill in the street and this was enough to get us home

  6. Early in my married life, I found myself temporarily out of work and low on monetory resources. I was led through prayer to send a sizable contribution to my former CS church from which I had not yet ended my membership. Within days of doing this, a check arrived from a totally unexpected source for an amount over ten times greater than .what I had sent to church.. As soon as my thinking changed from impoverished to generous, everything else changed for the better. I was and remain so grateful to God!

  7. I am so grateful for the reports and comments on this subject.
In Miscellaneous Writings pg 306 under the title “Angels” It says in part, “The Psalmist saith:, “He shall give his angels charge over thee,” God gives you His spiritual ideas, and in turn they give you daily supplies. Never ask for tomorrow: it is enough that divine Love is an ever-present help; and if you wait, never doubting, you will have all you need every moment.”
I have always loved this. Thanks Evan

    1. Jane that’s my favorite quote from Misc Writings. I have a bookmark on that page and turn often to its comforting message.

When my husband returned from the grocery store a few days ago I was shocked and disturbed when I looked at the receipt and saw that the 2 dozen eggs he purchased cost $12 for each dozen. $24 for 24 eggs. Granted they were jumbo, organic, free range etc but I’ve never paid more than about half that. I didn’t stay angry long, I joked that they’d better be gold-plated for that price. Trying to keep that sense of abundance, God’s abundance, in thought.

Also love that quote from Ecclesiastes. Another translation says, “Yes, we should make the most of what God gives, both the bounty and the capacity to enjoy it, accepting what’s given and delighting in the work. It’s God’s gift! God deals out joy in the present, the now.” (The Message)

  8. So grateful for this timely post, Evan. And so grateful for all the helpful sharings it elicited. Years ago, a dear one called me with great concern that she couldn’t find some needed money she had. She had previously experienced God’s provision in unexpected ways when reaching out to Him. So I was inspired to point out that if God had taken care of her the day before, He would not change His design and keep the money from her today! And she really saw the nonsense of that! Very soon afterwards she called back to say that she had found the money. How grateful were we for the evidence of God’s ever-present care when we tossed the obscuring material thought aside and trusted God’s reliably eternal, ever-active Love.

  9. Decades ago when our church had a lot more members we said to each other that we are the rich children of an overrich loving Father-Mother God.
Thank you dear Evan! With each SpiritView you let us understand our dear God a lot more as our infinite Father-Mother God with infinite possibilities to reflect Him. And I love what Evan says, that Divine Mind never runs out of good ideas that help and heal. Keenly I pray to express God more + more

Evan thank you very very much for your SpiritView that uplifts, inspires and heals. It is very needed!♡
