Which theory do you accept

May 30, 2025 | 19 comments

Which of these two theories concerning man are you ready to accept?  One is the mortal testimony, changing, dying, unreal.  The other is the eternal and real evidence, bearing Truth’s signet, its lap piled high with immortal fruits.

~ Mary Baker Eddy, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 494

Which theory are you living out today?

The mortal theory of life in matter leads to success that proves temporary, limits, decline, death.

Life in Spirit leads to eternity, infinity, immortality.  A place where success sticks and stays, limits fall away, and life never ends.

For the best life, choose Life in Spirit!  You’ll be glad you did!

    1. Thank you Evan “For immortal fruits”
      And “ life in Spirit”
Thank you Cyntia to take position:”I choose Spirit”

  1. I like the way Evan posed his question: “Which theory are you LIVING OUT today?”.
Being that the definition of a “theory” is – a principle which one constantly scientifically tests and pursues as demonstrable Truth through the gaining of experience, understanding and demonstrable data (outcomes). – Merriam-Webster

So it could also be asked as; Which theory are you in pursuit of (living out) everyday by demonstrating it is as TRUTH?

  2. Love the freedom and immortality expressed in this message and sweet photo!!
It depicts the spiritual, sunny, cheerful evidence of the child of God within all of us.
Lovely !!! Thank you for ever keeping this image of perpetual Love before us in
these Spirit Views of Truth. So much appreciated!

    1. I love your comments, Angel, always reminding each one of us that the child inside of us is meant to never disappear!

      1. Thank you Pp … very kind of you to let me know. Yes, we all do
have the child of God within us in Spirit and in Truth and Love.

    1. Thank you very much, Mark for your wonderfully metaphysical explanation of S P I R I T – I just needed it very much – so healing!

And Evan, the first thoughts when I saw the foto up here, were and still are Innocence, pure Joy and Love! thanks for it 🙂

  3. I was wrestling with the word theory, as I don’t consider Christian Science a theory, so I looked it up in Webster’s Dictionary: “theory: a set of principles on which the practice of an activity is based:”
Oh, ok. This works. The theory that we are material mortals, here today and gone tomorrow, is definitely not a good one! I accept the theory, principle, that is “the eternal and real evidence, bearing Truth’s signet, its lap piled high with immortal fruits.” as Mary Baker Eddy gives it.

Thank you for your loving and continuous reminders on SpiritView, Evan!

  4. Oh thank you very much dear Evan that you lead our thinking day by day to the right decisions, to live a life in Spirit and not in the dream of matter. Matter is a dream, it’s n o t. real at all! Am I grateful and glad that I understand that more and more. Our Pastor is a wonderful Leader and Christ is our grand teacher to spiritual eternal life! I pray for God’s safe and loving guidance. Thank you dear God! ♡

Thank you all for sharing so good and helpful articles!♡
    I enjoy them all!

  5. I keep smiling every time I see this precious child and when I read the comments.
Ah, to be like her – so aglow with the warm spirit of God’s Love. There is an aura
about her … the beatific presence, as there is with all of us, as we reflect the
image of God’s likeness. This is such a lovely message today. Thank you all.

  6. My first look at this beautiful picture made me think of……freedom happiness and contentment. Isnt that just about everything man wants to experience ? …and all of that while surrounded by divine Love……perfect.
Spirit, Life, wins hands down for me and for you❣️

  7. The thoughts shared here, both individually and collectively
are from divine Love and are blending together in one harmonious
expression from mortal sense to spiritual Soul. So beautiful as always –
life in Spirit. Thank you Ali
