You can never cross the ocean until you have the courage to lose sight of the shore.

  1. Thank you for this quote from Christopher Columbus. It is very timely for kids going off to college and for those of us sending kids off to college. We will all make wonderful new discoveries!

  2. The ocean we must cross? What seems like an ‘ocean’ of false beliefs.
The opposite shore? The land of Truth, where no false beliefs exist.
The journey? Well worth it, and, in fact, inescapable.
Truth is All…and Its laws to reign supreme…erasing dreams/false beliefs.
That’s what Truth does: wipe out errors!

    The operative word? “Seems.”
It only SEEMS like false beliefs exist! This false seeming can be conquered
with the spiritual facts of being as revealed by Christian Science– the knowledge
of the Christ, Truth, and its reign and rule of universal harmony.

    Let’s keep sailing, folks!

  3. Thanks much for the quote Evan and SpiritvVew Fan. I might add here that I had a struggle by not focusing on the body especially so that the problem concerns the feet which seems to be a vital part in walking. Now I recognized that turning away from the body needs courage to be disciplined always that in any instant that the eye sees a problem feet or a thought thinks a problem feet or see a problem mortal neighbor, it is best to only know the truth such as : Mind is the only intelligence knowing Himself as perfect, immortal Being, immortal Love,; that as I do not use eyes to see or understand God’s law but rather intelligently and spiritually so I do not use feet in order to walk but rather be persistent by knowing that the only walking is Truth and Love knowing and doing. And this needs a persistent practice. “What I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.”–Jesus.

    1. Hi Teresa,

Better yet, stay focused on your true “body.” The body of Spirit is healthy, strong well. This is the right idea of body you want to entertain and it will improve the human sense that doesn’t appear right at the moment.

  4. Thank you Evan, I read your comment to someone about staying focused on my true “body.” That resonated with me, I must continue to know that the body of Spirit is healthy! I love this, thanks.
