You are loved beyond measure

God loves each of us as if there were only one of us.

~ Augustine

Imagine that! All of God’s love is present to bless you without measure.

Are you aware of it? Are you openly receiving it?

You can, and without measure….

  2. Evan, thank you for the reminder that God’s love is impartial and no one is excluded from His affection. I love what Mrs. Eddy says: unspeakable peace comes from an all absorbing spiritual love .

  3. Evan, thank you for this. I will apply this wonderful idea to each of the synonyms. Principle Protects and orders each of us etc.

  4. Beautiful message and very needed by each of us to know this Truth. Thank you so much Evan. Lots of Love and Gratitude to you and everyone here. ❤️

  5. “I am the walking illustration of God‘s adoration! “

    Subtract the humor and the underlying fear of rejection by Fanny Brice in “The Funny Girl” musical (played by Barbra Streisand) at the Ziegfield Follies.

    Keep the truth and see its truth for everyone else. Soak in that love and enthusiastically share it. Commit to Being the visible and audible and tangible expression of loving and belovedness. As the driving or bicycling or housecleaning or shopping or parenting or protesting or gardening or working or writing or… …illustration of God’s adoration, clearly adored and generously adoring.

  6. I have always loved being in the countryside. Many years ago, when I was quite young, I went for a walk with my parents in the countryside, and as I walked, or skipped joyfully along in front of them, I suddenly felt engulfed in such a sense of beauty and overwhelming love – it was wonderful. It felt so huge, this love, and I just wanted everyone to feel it – it couldn’t possibly be contained in one
    person, but had to pour out everywhere. I have never forgotten it, but have not
    had that happen since. I hadn’t earned it in any way, it was just pouring out
    as I was really enjoying the beauty of the countryside. I am sure God wants
    everyone to appreciate His wonderful Kingdom and be filled with love and joy.

    1. Maggie, thanks for sharing that beautiful experience of the immensity of God’s Love.

      I’ve lately been thinking about the idea that we mean so much to God and he loves us each so tenderly. These thoughts have been shared here on SV recently. The idea of the tenderness of His Love helps me me feel more compassion and tenderness towards myself.

      I listened to a wonderful Sentinel Watch podcast the other day. It was on the topic of healing from suicidal thoughts. One of the speakers talked about how her growing understanding of the tenderness and allness of God’s love helped bring her out of a very dark place.

      Blessings to all of you!

  7. Thank you Evan. This is a good reminder. This “Love” is ever present and can be felt by each of us as we allow the truth we learn each day to fill our thought. This leads to the reality of man’s scientific unity with God as can be seen in our daily demonstrations..

  8. I have been thinking a lot about Love this last year or so. Divine principle, Love, not the inconsistent human emotion, love. I’m learning it’s truly the answer to everything. Especially those things in which our human sense balks at the thought of loving “so and so” or “such and such” problem. Divine Principle Love is God. It’s at the same time complete power, strength, dominion, authority, protection, safety, comfort, sweetness, gentleness, meekness, peacefulness, innocence, etc. With this blog post It’s important to move past “that’s a nice thought.” to really pondering the two questions posed: “Are you aware of it?” “Are you openly receiving it?” and I would add, “Are you sharing it?” I am finding countless ways to work on developing this principle in my life and it feels very difficult at times, sometimes seemingly impossible. But I’m also seeing huge progress amongst two groups of people I’m involved with in which there literally was no other way to deal with challenges facing the groups (no, not political) I tried anger and even feelings of hatred and boy is it the truth that those feelings are like poison. The following hymn, 179 from the Christian Science Hymnal is a gem.

    Love one another,–word of revelation;
    Love frees from error’s thrall,–Love is liberation.
    Love’s way the Master trod;
    He that loves shall walk with God.
    Love is the royal way.

    Love knows no evil, neither shade of sadness;
    Love casts out every fear, lifts the heart to gladness
    Love heals our every ill,
    All the law does love fulfill.
    Love is our answered prayer.

    Love now is dawning over every nation;
    Showing true brotherhood, publishing salvation,
    Love bids all discord cease.
    Conquering hate, enthroning peace,
    Love, Love alone is power.

  9. Dear Shepherd, You are Love divine,
    You meet my every need.
    Where fields are green and waters still
    I rest, I drink, I feed.

    Your love restores my thirsty soul,
    And leads me from the wild
    To walk in ways of Truth and Life
    As Your beloved child.

    And even when the shade of death
    Suggests that we can part,
    No fear of evil enters here;
    Your strength and guidance, ever near,
    Bring comfort to my heart.

    Your goodness spreads before my eyes;
    No enemy You know.
    Your oil is poured upon my head;
    My cup, it overflows.

    Your grace and mercy every day
    Bring blessings from above.
    I’m living in the house of God,
    The consciousness of Love.

    Hymn #465

    Thank you Evan,– and thank you Maggie for sharing your beautiful glimpse into the kingdom of heaven as a child.

  10. Wonderful comments today! Thank you all. “As if there were only one of us” struck me. No duplicates, no copies or extras of each of us. We reflect the uniqueness of God. That means each is a treasured, rare expression of our Maker. You are priceless!

  11. Thank you Trista and Linda, Santa Barbara for bringing us both these hymns….
    Thank you Evan….and all. Just wonderful ❣️

  12. I find it comforting to know that God’s love for you is the LAW, despite your protests! 🙂

    Although sometimes my human concept (or things I do) can make me feel unloved by God at time, that is not God’s thought of you at all. The real you, the only you.

    For if it were that the LAW that “God is Love” could be broken, it would imply a broken or fickle God, which is impossible.

    So sometimes in despair, I have to remind myself of the law of God loving his creations (how could he not?) for all time.
