Dottie thanks for the reminder of this statement, “God good, guides, guards and governs.” I had a chance to use this thought on the bus this morning when an angry exchange of words was going on between the bus driver and another passenger. It was getting pretty heated and I started affirming that God good was guiding, guarding and governing all His children on that bus and that only divine Love was present. And thinking about yesterday’s SV message of how nothing can resist the power of Divine Love. In a few seconds all became quiet and I felt very grateful that I was equipped to know what was spiritually True.
What a wonderful way to start our summer by recognizing and praising our Father Mother God for.Her eternal, ever present Love and Protection. Thank you Evan for sharing this beautiful Psalm with its reassurance of God’s protection and grace.
What comes to mind from this quotation from Psalms that Evan
has quoted above, is that we can apply it to those men in the
submarine who were visiting the Titanic wreck and now seem to
be lost. We can know that they are not lost, but in God’s tender loving
care and protection, and He will save them. We can wrap them in this
Psalm, and know, as Adam Dickey writes in his well-known article, that
there is a law applicable to come to their aid, even in the middle, or depth
of the ocean. It is the Law of divine Love, in operation right now. He will not
forsake them.. There is no material law or power that can prevent this
law from operating on their behalf.
Looking up the definition of safety, it can be seen clearly that when we believe
in matter as being real, we cannot be completely safe – there is always a risk
of some material eventuality that can shake this material sense of safety. The
only guarantee of safety is in our understanding of God’s ever present perfect loving
care as His beloved spiritual offspring, dwelling in His spiritual kingdom, where
“Human sense has not seen man”.
I too have been praying for the safety of these men, both with the psalm Evan quotes and with the 91st psalm. I am sure that at my church’s testimony meeting tonight there will be many lovely helpful thoughts expressed. X
Certainly God cares for us and guards us from all evil. He guards our life and is with us every moment. We are inseparable from Him so always in His embrace and protection.
Am so grateful to our Father Mother God for protecting me always.
In Bombay during the bomb blasts in the trains I was in my office gym.
During heavy rains and no trains to go home, our office gave us food and shelter. That very day I wished to leave office early, but something or the other delayed my leaving office, and then this news came that due to heavy rains trains couldn’t operate on the tracks.
Yet again during the terrorist attacks I was out of Bombay.
If we live in the consciousness of God all the time, we are at home with God and safe in His constant care.
Thanks Evan for this lovely remember that we are always dwelling in God so forever safe..
One of my friends shared this truth with me and I have shared with many friends, and wish to share with all of you.
“Whether on land or sea, in sky or space, we all move securely in God’s embrace”
Thank you Evan. Hymn 483 always touches my heart. It makes me see how close God is to me and how he clears my path at all times.Let me share the first stanza with us.
God guards me for my God is Love, Love divine.
God loves me: my God is great.
God guards me for my God is Love, Love divine.
God loves me : my God is great.
Thank you everyone and of course, Evan. I really liked Nergish’s little poem: “Whether on land or sea, in sky or space, we all move securely in God’s embrace”
How grateful I am for Spirit View and all of who participate in sharing prayerful, spiritual insights here. It brought tears to my eyes this morning to feel the wonderful support for those dear children of God who are news items across the world now. I have been earnestly praying about this and what a blessing to hear your declarations of Truth too. What we are “in” is an important point for all of us—-“in trouble”or in God’s constant care? Certainly the 91st Psalms, God’s Law of Adjustment by Adam Dickey and every powerful statement by Mrs Eddy put us squarely IN Spirit, not matter, —-most pertinent to the Titanic story, the Ukraine story, our story, WHATEVER
presents itself about man and where he is. Jesus was “laughed to scorn” when he approached seemingly impossible conditions but the healing Christ knew the true condition of man and where we truly exist—“In Him we live and move and have our being.”
Thank you Spirit View family for your prayers
Thank you Nergish for your very supportive quote on God’s security. i have been blessed so many times to see this demonstrated in my career as an airline pilot. My favorite Bible quote is, “If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; even there shall Thy hand lead me, and Thy right hand shall hold me.” Psalm 139 KNV
Thank you very much Evan for that very comforting SpiritView verse from Psalms.
I just read Psalms 139 with the toppic “God the allknowing and everpresent”. Wow such a wonderful Psalm. It assures us of our Oneness with God, and the wonderful closeness of our God to us. He knows our every need before we long for His help! That`s very precious and awesome and comforting! And in another verse God promisses ” I will heal you and make you sound”. I love all the promisses of our loving Father-Mother God which always bless and heal! 🙂
I just read that Robin in AZ also cherishes Psalms 139 very much for his safety with God!
And dear “J”, again you did us the love to send us the links to two wonderful articles suitable to today`s SpiritView. Thank you very very much; the articles are so wonderful and very helpful!!!
And all you other wonderful commentators, I thank you all for your inspiring comments today!!!
I, too, enjoyed the poem Nergish shared. I’ve been cherishing the fact that we are all “embraced in the infinite Mind and forever reflected.” That firm embrace never lets go. Keeps us all safe.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, [39] Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus.
The 5 people in the submarine are secure in God’s love. Praise God for His care and protection.
Thank you, Evan! God good ,guards ,guides and governs ! He directs , protects, and corrects. Thank you, God.
So help also!
