You can’t be conscious of spiritual perfection and material imperfection at the same time. One vanishes with the other.
If praying for healing, choose to be conscious of spiritual perfection. It’s the cure of material imperfection.

yes that’s it. Dangerous to keep checking with matter to see if healing has manifest. That’s a ploy of the carnal mind. Stay with Spirit, thats where perfection and substance is. Thank you Evan
So true Evan…one can only think one thought at a time…we just have to make it the right, spiritual thought! Every concept of ‘’sense’’ can become the evidence of ‘Soul’’. Our reception , Gods direction.
I’m ever grateful for Spirit View ❣️
i totali agree, but sometimes for those in pain or discomfort, even longtime scientists can,t see through Cloud. How can we help them with thiseasier said thank done as they Say? however thank you Evan.marvellous as Always.
Alex, Here is my understanding.
Jesus said that he could not do anything of himself,
and we cannot either. He showed us that God was
always in charge of us and protecting us. As Evan says, we have a choice: –
“If praying for healing, choose to be conscious of spiritual perfection. It’s the cure of material imperfection.”
We need to fill our consciousness with the spiritual fact that God is Love, and made us all perfect and whole, and that is the way He is keeping us, as His reflection. Anything that manifests pain and suffering is a lie
about God and His beloved child. However real it seems, it is only a material suggestion, not a reality. What seems to be suffering is just the manifestation of false material beliefs which the world is always holding in front of us. But Christ teaches us us and demonstrates for us that these evil sickly beliefs are not of God, and are powerless to touch us, as we are God’s ideas dwelling in and completely protected by God’s law of love. If there is no love in it, there is no power, because the power of God is always accompanied by his Love.
When we pray to keep our consciousness filled with our understanding of God as the only cause and effect, and particularly understanding that God is Love, and feeling that love – letting it flow – that iis all we need to do,, and it will bring God’s Law in action to the person we are concerned about. We must let God do His own work, have faith that He is doing so. Then expect so witness the lies disappear.
We are all complete and whole now – that is the reality.
Wonderful. This is exactly right. And yes it can be difficult to stay with the real, the Truth, but that is our job. Thanks. God bless.
Thank you Evan and all for this strong message.and comments.
I am a lifelong student of CS of over 70+ years.
We were raised in a loving, thriving CS church with an active Sunday School..
Today that church is empty.
Only a few of us from that SS stayed with CS.
I look forward to the answers to Alex’s question.
Thank you for this open conversation.
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
(Proverbs 22:6)
It doesn’t say that along their journey they won’t wander a bit. The key, to me, is unselfishness. Do we treat our students respectfully? Give them challenging assignments? Do we go out of our way to invite them to our homes, offer field trips, attend their events? Ask for their participation in activities with the full understanding of how blessed we are to have CS? How it blesses others? To have compassion on friends who struggle and to encourage them to share their understanding and heal others?
A dear member of our church LOVED his children, the children in his SS class, and CS so much he engaged them in all his church work as well as take them on adventures. His grandchildren are active church members now.
Dear Alex, I once was in horrendous pain in one of my legs, needing to be up early the next morning for a 10 hour drive, alone, back to my home. As I lay there, not able to be still because of rhe pain, I constantly argued with the pain, using the Truths I knew about God as the source for my argument. No matter what my physical body was screaming at me, I refused to let “my thought accept it as true”, even speaking the Truth out loud at it .. God loves me, God would never allow His child to be in pain, I can only have what God knows about me, thist isn’t true about me, error, this lie has no control over me, etc. Early the next morning, I found myself, waking up IN NO PAIN, got dressed, got in my car and drove home, rejoicing with God for this wonderful healing. The battle had been won because I fought it within my thought, Not in my body .. TRUTH always wins the argument‼️ Every time my thought tried to accept the pain as real, I argued it down with God’s Truth as if I were in a court of law. This is the way I deal with ANYTHING that needs healing still today I hope this is helpful.
Much love for SpiritView and for all of you, God’s children. caydee
Thanks for your comment Jan. The CS church I went to was turned into a Hindu temple many years ago, and I believe it’s something else now. I believe the selling of churches of all denominations has been ongoing for many years with the decline of in-person attendance. On a positive note, with an online presence, CS reaches many people world-wide, as does SV. Everyone is on their own journey, but it’s comforting to know that spiritual sense is innate in all of God’s beloved children. As Jesus said, “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, there am I in the midst of them.” (KJ Matt. 18:20)
I just recently started following Spirit view and loving it! Alex’s comments and Maggie’s response were spectacular and so helpful! So grateful to you, Evan, for sharing your inspiration and healing ideas with the world!
Thank you Evan.
I’ll riff off of Maggie’s comments (thank you Maggie) about: “I can of my own self do nothing”.
In case you missed it, on Sunday Christine attached an excellent article that also included a wonderful poem:
“Overcoming discouragement”. Rob Gilbert interviewed by the Journal’s Rita Polatin. From the December 2016 issue of The Christian Science Journal:
https://journal.christianscience.com/shared/view/1jvaymk2qnm?s=copylink
And in regard to Maggie’s comment about Love, it made me think of this article:
Love: The key to healing. By Michelle Nanouche. From the October 2009 issue of The Christian Science Journal:
https://journal.christianscience.com/shared/view/xjbtlbz7y0?s=copylink
That’s a very helpful article, J. Thank you.
The interview with Rob Gilbert I have kept, as
it is also very good. I remembered the poen from that book of poems which I have, but have not referred to them for a long time.
This is such a wonderful site filled with very helpful messages, ideas, articles,
graphics, – all so divinely inspired. Thank you All! I love the fresh Springlike
artwork that is a perfect depiction of an awakening to God’s beautiful world
that surrounds us in Spirit. Like a tree blossoming, we, too, are blossoming
in thought when we are inspired by such renewing of Mind/Love’s – God’s
perfection. And just like a tree can not be dormant and blossoming at the
same time, we can not be experiencing pain, if we are enlightened by the
Spiritual blessings that are with us, even if we do not seem to see or feel
it at the moment of need. Just as the sun is shining, even on a cloudy day,
God’s Love is warming us with constant care and like the reflection of the
mountains, we reflect this Love in mirrored perfection. Sometimes, as
Alex writes, it seems easier said than done, in overcoming beliefs that
“mortal” thinking tries to overwhelm us with, but with persistence, patience
and Knowing that God is more powerful than any belief in whatever seems
to be harming us, we will blossom in this perfection.
Such a wonderful community of seekers, motivated by Love. Thank you, each and all
