Let only the impress of good grow in thought

What is impressing you today?  Health, harmony, peace, love, wisdom, God’s goodness?  Hopefully.

There might be a temptation to entertain lesser states of thought when temptations to get angry, frustrated, or ill coming knocking at the mental door.  But we possess God given dominion to reject evil and accept good.  We can turn away any suggestions to live anything less than joyful and healthy.

Mary Baker Eddy reminds us, “Suffer no claim of sin or of sickness to grow upon the thought” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 390).  These are wise words.

If you don’t want to live it, don’t think it!  Think on the good and the true.

Think on what you want to live out.  Think on the health, harmony and peace of God which naturally belong to you as a child of God.  Suffer nothing less to grow upon the thought.  You’ll be far better off.
