A new website with inspiring music

January 15, 2019 | 29 comments

A reader let me know about a new website named Hymnstream that you might be interested in checking out.

This site is filled with dozens of hymns and solos composed to bring inspiration and healing to the listening ear. You’ll find a wide variety of settings, from classical to folk, and rock to opera. Most hymns come from the Christian Science hymnal.

Enjoy!

As a sidenote, the solo The Lord’s Prayer sung this past
Sunday at the Mother Church service at
christianscience.com is one of the most awesome renditions of inspiration I have ever heard. By listening to this and the hymns on the mentioned site, one can just FEEL God’s Love and presence.

    1. Yes, that was really amazing Bill Burden is a wonderful singer who sings in major opera companies all over. It really was a Joy to hear him sing this difficult solo so beautifully.

  15. Perfect timing. Yesterday I needed to listen to hymns (as I just didn’t feel like I could read) but couldn’t find any online. Really met my need. Thank you.
