A sure way to prosper

March 14, 2022 | 15 comments

Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper.

~ Psalms 37:3

Trust in Spirit, not in matter, and reap the benefits of living a spiritually inspired life.

Trust in Truth, not in error, and keep yourself in a position of dominion and authority.

Trust in Love, not in hatred, and live peacefully.

Trust in good, never in evil, and watch the goodness of God multiply before your eyes.

Trust in health, never in disease, and stay healthy.

Trust in God, never in anything less, and prosper in everything divine Mind leads you to do.

  1. Thank you Evan for reminding us of God’s wonderful promises.
Each day we should all adhered to each one.

  2. Thank you Evan for reminding us of the importance of where we put our trust. I’ve been thinking recently of the “new and glorified trust,..higher ideals of life and it’s joys” (Science and Health p. 299) which angels reveal to us when”human belief
has buried its fondest earthly hopes.” I’ve been blessed again and again over the years by divesting myself of “false trusts and material evidences in order that the spiritual facts of being may appear” (Science and Health p 428). Where we place our trust makes all the difference!

Thus may each member of this church rise
above the oft-repeated inquiry, What am I?
to the scientific response: I am able to
impart truth, health, and happiness, and this
is my rock of salvation and my reason for
    existing.

Thanks Evan and everyone. Happy living God today
    and every day.

  4. The ideals which have lighted my way, and time after time have given me new courage to face life cheerfully, have been Kindness, Beauty, and Truth. -Albert Einstein, physicist, Nobel laureate (14 Mar 1879-1955)

    Just read a daily email.
Word a day plus thought of
    the day.

  5. Thank You everyone. And a pleasant and productive week to you all.
I shall read John 17 this day and at our Wednesday meeting.
I suggest it for everyone. Mrs. Eddy read it to her early class in 1880 when she had but 3 students.
    Lovingkindness…..

You are welcome Dear Susan J.

  6. The line: Trust in health, never disease, and stay healthy. Reminds me of Proverbs 3:5-6, now with a slight change, “Trust in your God-given health (that your health comes from God) trust with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding of what you think or hear about health. In all your ways acknowledge your God-given health and He will keep you healthy.” My thinker for the day…

    1. Love this Bev, “lean not unto your own understanding of what you think or hear about health,” but trust what God knows about our health (or anything about us) Yes!

  7. Thank you very much Evan for the verse from Psalms. That alone is already so healing for me.
Trust in the Lord, and not what others say humanly. Yes and do good, or do the right thing which is divinely sensible.
And now Evan lists all what is right and sensible to do. And most to do is to trust God. Am praying to do that. The Holy Bible advises us countless times to trust God which will bless us and save us from all worries! Wow is that needed and comforting, and I am so grateful for the Bible as I am for the Textbook Science and Health. ♡ 🙂

  8. Evan I appreciated knowing that if we trust in Good, we can “watch the goodness of God multiply before our eyes.”

There’s a female television preacher I enjoy listening to from time to time, she often said, if you remember nothing else I’ve taught, just remember two things, Trust God and Do Good. Now I see that’s right from today’s quote Psalms 37:3. Good advice.
