  1. Hi Evan,

today on Saturday you sent us a SpiritView, and I am sure it is because of the present situation at the Eastcoast hurricane. This evening I wil not watch the news, as they are full of the hurricane situation. Rather will go into my closet and affirm the Truth about it and about the full control which belongs to GOD, the all-powerful, omnipresent, omniacting divine Mind.

What a healthy, refreshing idea “patience is a gentle breeze” – thank you Evan !

    Love to all 🙂

  2. That’s such a beautiful analogy (and a beautiful picture)! And, as everything is mental, so practical! How wonderful it is to be ‘a gentle breeze’ and to be patient, instead of acting like a hurricane.
It makes me think of global warming also. I often wonder if this is not primarily a mental problem of heated, angry thoughts. It sometimes seems that people are so angry about so many things. This is something I often struggle with in my thinking.
Thank you, Evan, for providing so much food for thought!

  3. Thanks so much. What a nice bonus to get this today. I’ve
been praying about this for several days. I loved the thoughts on this yesterday
    as well!

  4. Thank you so much for this and everyone’s prayers. In Charlotte NC there has been a gentle steady rain falling all day. It’s been a good lesson as one has said about keeping in the closet with the door shut.

  5. Thanks so much, Evan, for this blog and also the one yesterday – so helpful in keeping our thoughts on the right, harmonious activity of God.

  6. Mrs. Eddy says “Everything is under the control of the one Mind even God”. Enveloped in the protecting and loving arms of Divine Love, only a gentle breeze can touch us, never a hurricane. We live in the atmosphere of Love Divine, never outside of His pesence, influence and control.
God’s being is infinity, freedom, harmony and boundless bliss, and God is our dwelling place in all generations. “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our life, and we will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” All are safe and secure in the consciousness of God’s love.
Haste brings in it’s wake waste, anger, and destruction. Patience brings protection, peace, harmony, good results, and spiritual progress.
Thanks Evan for the lovely inspiration.

  7. Your blog was the first time I had heard of the hurricane as I am in Australia and so I was able to think about it straight away and to realise its lack
of a destructive force and that all who were in its path were reflecting the Christ power which would give them the wisdom to act suitably.
News reports tell us that the Phillipines are threatened now and so I am able to think about that in the same way.
Thank you Evan and other contributors.

  8. I am enjoying both your morning blogs and the thoughtful responses from around the world! Thank you Evan for the prayerful, creative time you put into this gift.
