Trust is a powerful force for results in life.
What we trust guides, shapes and forms our decisions, actions, and experiences.
For the best results, it’s important to put trust in what brings good outcomes. And that best place to put trust is God!!
God is an all-knowing, all-wise Mind that knows the best way to approach any problem and bring about the best result.
However, if our trust is elsewhere, other than God, we might not be hearing what God has to say to help us out.
If we trust germs to make us sick rather than truth to keep us well, our trust may lead to a great amount of suffering from infections. If we trust evidence of material lack more than we trust evidence of spiritual supply, we may suffer shortfalls. If we trust hate and anger to produce misery more than we trust divine love to produce harmony, we may suffer from conflict.
To stay healthy and well, put your trust in good, rather than evil. Trust God, the source of infinite good!
God is always present to give you what you need to conquer evil with good and keep progressing with health and harmony in your life.
As the Psalmist proclaims, “In You, O Lord, I put my trust,” (Ps. 31:1, NKJV) we can do the same.
Trust in what you hope to live out. Trust in good. Trust in health. Trust in abundance. Trust in God. You’ll be far happier with the results.
In God we trust.

Thank you, Evan, for another very inspiring SpiritView. What I’ve learned through my study of Christian Science is that mortal mind — the serpent — would try to convince us that we can’t fulfill the spiritual promises of relying on God because of lack of supply and the like. The fact is, relying on God has nothing to do with material means and methods. Reliance on God is purely spiritual. Trusting entirely in the spiritual will bring bountiful blessings every time. We need to stop staring at the symbolic basket of loaves and fishes — but focus on the omnipresence, omnipotence and omniscience of God’s Love. That will bring everything we could ever need and bless us abundantly.
Mary Baker Eddy says “if you wait (and trust), never doubting, you will have all you need every moment.” Misc Writings p307.

I find it a funny suggestion that anyone can trust in evil. To me trust means only to absolutely
rely on something positive that we can lean on – like “the sustaining infinite”. It makes it clearer to me to say not to “believe” in evil or discords, for they obviously cannot be trusted.
but ony to believe in that which brings good into our experience – which is God.
Mrs. Eddy refers to belief and trust in the following passage{
The Hebrew and Greek words often translated belief differ somewhat in meaning from that conveyed by the English verb believe; they have more the significance of faith, understanding, trust, constancy, firmness. Hence the Scriptures often appear in our common version to approve and endorse belief, when they mean to enforce the necessity of understanding.

Thank you for your thought provoking comment Maggie. In thinking about what you wrote, it occurred to me in my work life I noticed some people trusted in dishonesty or backstabbing because they thought that would benefit from “trusting” those evils. And aren’t prisons full of people who put their trust in evil in the belief they would be benefitted by doing so? Thinking about this made me remember the following sentences from S&H:

The false evidence of material sense contrasts strikingly with the testimony of Spirit. Material sense lifts its voice with the arrogance of reality and says:
I am wholly dishonest, and no man knoweth it. I can cheat, lie, commit adultery, rob, murder, and I elude detection by smooth-tongued villainy. Animal in propensity, deceitful in sentiment, fraudulent in purpose, I mean to make my short span of life one gala day. What a nice thing is sin! How sin succeeds, where the good purpose waits!

Looking back on the steps being taken in my life, I have found that
each step was needed in learning and moving forward to spiritual
progress. God’s Love and care and guidance has always been there,
even though some of the rough times, it seemed like it wasn’t. What
may have Seemed like troubling times, when going through them, I
now know were necessary to a more understanding to what is
important in life.
Such gratitude for these spiritual blessings and thank you, Evan and
all for wonderful sharing. Much appreciated.
I would love to see what Evan and others think about this statement. “What is best. for God.”
Because if man can understand that he can understand himself.
A very quick thought, as I am on my way to bed Truus is, that because we are the
image or reflection of God, we have what God know is the best. He knows it
for Himself, and therefore we know it for ourselves, that we may glorify God alone.
