“The greatest oak was once a little nut who held its ground.”

~ Author Unknown

If you’ve ever felt like a “little nut,” holding to a big truth, keep holding to that big truth! It will prevail.

  1. When you are just a beginner like the little nut, in learning about God and His healing power, holding your ground, holding to the Truth is not easy, Many trials may come, God tries and purifies. One has to be patient, disciplined, morally strong and spiritually inclined. Then once you become firmly established in the Truth you will prevail and grow into a big strong oak, unshakeable and powerful, fully equipped with the fruits of Truth.

  2. How great is the Truth … it is all the movement in that little nut as it is in all of us.
SH 283:4 ~ “Mind is the source of all movement, and there is no inertia to retard or check its perpetual and harmonious action.”

  3. “What if the little rain should say, ‘So small a drop as I Can ne’er refresh a drooping earth, I’ll tarry in the sky.’”

Is not a man metaphysically and mathematically number one, a unit, and therefore whole number, governed and protected by his divine Principle, God? You have simply to preserve a scientific, positive sense of unity with your divine source, and daily demonstrate this. Then you will find that one is as important a factor as duodecillions in being and doing right, and thus demonstrating deific Principle.

  4. I’m very grateful for Spirit view this morning and each and every comment brought an inspiring thought! Thank you thank you thank you

  5. What happy and edifying encouragement on my drear day. The quotes are so very much appreciated. Gratitude abounds for this spiritual company. Love to all.

  6. This picture makes me think, “NOTHING can stop the growth of a right or progressive idea ..no matter how hard the nut you have to crack!”

  7. Thank you, Evan, and all, esp Nergish whose comment went straight to my heart. I am expressing patience and purity as “Many trials may come, God tries and purifies. One has to be patient, disciplined, morally strong and spiritually inclined. Then once you become firmly established in the Truth you will prevail and grow into a big strong oak, unshakeable and powerful, fully equipped with the fruits of Truth.” YES. Expecting prevalence and growth. . .

  8. While still employed by IBM, I once had an idea for a software design which would benefit the financial analysts. I could not get my manager or higher management to understand what I was proposing and the project was rejected. So, I implemented the project on my own as a parallel to the legacy process. The new software resulting in eliminating overtime and reduced temporary headcount needs by 30%. I got a nice raise in pay. I have always had a little bit of nuttiness in me and it has paid off in the long run.

  9. Nuts are are a perfect expression of Truth and Life! Does this make squirrels a great symbol of Truth Seekers??

Great thought-starter when someone tells me “that idea is nuts”. Or when when someone thinks they are allergic to nuts. (I would add no offense intended here but I believe this group understands!!)

  10. How very timely this message is for me. Thanks so much Evan and all who have commented. After much prayer I am now moving from my home, which I decorated with my special belongings, to the master bedroom and bath at my daughter’s house. She’s wanted me to live with her for some time, but I just couldn’t give up my home. I then declared that I live in the Kingdom of Heaven, and that I will blossom wherever I’m planted. I’m also praying constantly with Hymn 148, “In heavenly love abiding, no change my heart shall fear..” What a blessing Christian Science is. It gives us confidence in God’s will, not ours!

  11. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he than is in you, than he that is in the world. I John, chapter 4, vs. 4
Thank you Evan and thanks to all of you for the comments.

  12. Am very grateful for today’s SpiritView , as it is utmost comforting. I do need this assurance and confidence that, if we hold to the big Truth, we will grow in understanding God better snd better and our relationship to our Father-Mother God who loves and leads us.

Am thankful for all your comments!
