  4. From yesterday’s blog Mrs. Eddy said it all manly years ago:

“In Christian Science, Christmas stands for the real, the absolute and eternal, —
for the things of Spirit, not of matter.”

    SpiritView.net
Got a call this morning as I just opened this Christmas Card of the nativity. Sparkling with bright stars of joy!
The call was from another Scientist from another branch church who hasn’t seen the site.
He was told to look it up and enjoy with the rest to glorify God in this sharing.
A timely and very uplifting moment!
This is God’s inspired site for which we all are grateful.
Thank You Evan for this gift of Lovingkindness.

  16. Merry Christmas to all….Evan and Kathy, and the Spritiview family. From reading the message through to all the comments, I am very grateful for these blogs (and vlogs). Makes for a well-rounded “lesson” each morning, that perfectly compliments the Daily Lesson, the Daily Lift and the Daily Thought. I, too, am grateful for the computer that brings the whole world congregation together, and for the access to jsh online and all the resources needed to keep each of us connected to Christ-messages. I feel that I’ve learned and progressed a lot through all these avenues available. A heartfelt thanks to Evan and all the commenters:) Have a blessed day and year.

  17. Merry Christmas, Evan, to you and your family!
    It’s a wonderful day!
I am so grateful for Spiritview, the true practice of what Christ Jesus taught: to love, love, love–and share it!
I don’t contribute much, but I want to say thank you to all those who do, presenting ideas, and ways of thinking inspired by Evan’s “prompts” each day. It’s food for thought, intelligent, kind, inclusive.
Thank you Evan, thank you all.
    Joy and peace!
    Suzette

  18. Evan, all your loving, beautiful, inspired posts, and comments, fill my heart with gratitude and love. This Christmas day especially illumines for me the “everlasting arms of Love” encircling the whole world, giving us hope for peace and good will for all. We are blessed to be a blessing.

  19. Just when I thought I received the best Christmas present ever, I receive more here today.
Grateful to all and my love to you, too.

  20. Yes Kathyw, Christmas time focuses on peace and Love. I read in my branchchurch about God’s saving and caring and healing power, and about Christ Jesus’ healing works. And yet on my way home I had a quarrel with another car driver woman. who was quite angry shouting at me, if i don’t know the rules. When I was safely home, I was thankfully aware, that God was there and fully in control of the situation. A man passed by, talked to her and then she drove away. For me that man was an angel sent from God to clarify the situation.
I later thought, may this woman be at peace and joyful this Christmas eve.

Thank you very much Evan for a year of overflowing Inspiration, Love and comforting and healing spiritual ideas with you SpiritView and Vlogs. I felt and of course still feel blessed and loved within the whole wonderful commenter family of this gorgeous SpiritView blog. It is inspiring, loving and supporting each other. Isn’t that Christmas, celebrating lovingkindness everyday!? I am so very grateful for this supporting and loving SpiritView community!
Wishing you all contemplative and peaceful, joyful Christmas .

  25. Evan, the star and the sparkles just struck me with inspiration. What a glorious image to project the blessed event of the day. I would love to know how many countries are represented by you readers. There is Germany, Canada, England.
Just how much of our world is being filled by the True thoughts and actions of Christian Scientists participating here?

    1. Hi Joan,

I haven’t counted the countries, but it’s many from all continents. This blog has a few thousand readers each day from all over the world. It’s nice to have you as one of them!

  26. Catching up this morning with the blogs I missed over Christmas. It’s been wonderful after attending the Mother Church service on line live this Sunday morning. I am grateful for the technology that makes this possible and for Christian Science that gives us the true meaning of Christmas. Love to all the thousands who receive this blog and those that share the inspiration they glean.
