  1. The pictures brought up for me the following hymn –
and I will just select a few lines:

Eternal Mind the Potter is, / And thought th’ eternal clay: ……….

… Life, Truth and Love the pattern make, / Christ is the perfect heir; / The clouds of sense roll back, and show / The form divinely fair.

God’s will is done; His kingdom come; / The Potter’s work is plain. / The longing to be good and true / Has brought the light again. / And man does stand as God’s own child, / The image of His love. / Let gladness ring from every tongue, / And heaven and earth approve.
(Christian Science Hymnal, No. 51:1 (to :), 2 Life, 3)

I feel that the longing to be good and true is where the patience lies – by
doing our best to be Christlike and true to our Maker. He fashioned us after
His own likeness, and that is what Christ through Christian Science
    is teaching us.

  2. Thank you very much Evan for this short but extremely profound SpiritView today. For me it is very comforting and helpful and healing!

Thank you very much Maggie for the beautiful hymn :Eternal Mind the Potter is”. I just sang it for me and it’s very loving and healing. Just what I needed and so comforting!

Thanks dear Evan, it’s such a wonderful SpiritView Blog! ❤️

  3. Today’s message brings to thought, how when seeds are planted in
a garden, they do not appear to be anything that would ever turn
into a beautiful flower, but with patience and nurturing, they do.
A yard of green becomes a burst of color after waiting for the
flowers to blossom when they are ready. Buds can not be forced
open, because we are anxious to see what color they might be and
“patience must have her perfect work.” The sunshine of God’s perfection
brings forth beauty for us to enjoy if we are patient as the seeds/plants
in a garden grow into their loveliness.

  4. Thank you I really needed this message today. I am about to have a life altering, life changing surgery at the end of the month. Going through cancer requires much Faith and Patience!
