Pour on the love when faced with heated anger

If faced with heated anger, pour on the love until it goes away!

Here’s a vlog I produced while hiking in the Theodore Roosevelt National Park last month, and got inspired by a “Coal Vein of Fire,” that occurred in the region decades ago.

“Pour on the love”

  1. Thank you Evan. I love the “bucket of water” idea and immediately thought of the significance of water = purity; And what more pure way than seeing as God sees us. Mrs Eddy tells us: SH 557:18
“Divine Science rolls back the clouds of error with the light of Truth, and lifts the curtain on man as never born and as never dying, but as coexistent with his creator.” Just reminding myself that this Man has no mortal record, no filter thru which to reassemble Mind into matter with a history of duality and conflict. None of this applies to our true “now” Identity, timeless and infinite. The only Ruler: God and His Christ. Christian Healing 18:1 ” … both mortal mind and mortal body shall yield to the government of God, immortal Mind?” SH 444:16 “Let us be faithful in pointing the way through Christ, as we understand it, but let us also be careful always to “judge righteous judgment,” and never to condemn rashly.” Impersonalize

  2. S & H page 201, 17 – 19, this relates to the subject perfectly.
“The way to extract error from mortal mind is to pour in truth through floodtides of love Christian perfection is won on no other basis.”
The love shared here this morning is powerful to extinguish hate. Thank you all for sharing this morning’s Spirit!

  3. Oh dear Evan, thank you very much reminding us that LOVE, and Love alone, ist the healer of all turmoils, seemingly goeing on in the whole world presently, and of course specially now in the USA.
Oh yes, my heart is with you, all American friends, and I am with you praying and loving, and pouring out a big bucket of LOVE daily! Thanks a lot, Evan, I love your wonderful Vlogs you made for us in your holiday!
Thank you David, that passage from S & H is also one of my favorites! And thanks all dear SpiritView friends for your helpful comments!

  4. Wow, this is so greatly needed Evan.
I am in a household so divided this is such a great suggestion.
    Going to see it work.
By the way, that shirt makes you look like part of the landscape.
I am sure it was intentional.

  5. I think we need to focus on the adjustment God always brings to any situation in order to
restore harmony, harmony that has never truly left. I feel mortal mind which has been so much
of our political body is coming forward to be destroyed. I feel this country is being reborn. I have been told and agree that this country seized in thought on a way of governing not seen before in the world. It was a very special time 1776, with love leading the way. Focus on Love, not the fear of mortal mind.

  6. Such an uplifting blog
Last night I was trying to pray for the world and just thought it overwhelming so I gave up. BUT your blog really got me back on track and I am getting my bucket of water out today!!! Thank you so very much

  7. Thank you Evan for the vlog and our call to duty to keep the Love flowing in our prayers both for your country and so many others in seeming turmoil at present. Now we have to be peacemakers and reflect the Love bestowed on us by God. No Truthful , loving thought returns empty . In reality harmony IS❣️

  8. What a perfect way of synergistically pouring on our bucket of harmony through flood tides of Love. As a drop of water is one with the ocean, so are our unique, collective thoughts combined … One with God. I believe there is a cleansing going on in so many ways to bring us back to the basics, Love’s base of pulling together for a better world, not divisive, where politics = power, belongs to God and anger is dissipated through the ablution of Love.

  9. This perfect harmony with each of our buckets is synergistically poured together through the flood tides of Love. I believe there is a cleansing going on in our world where the basics, our base with God is collectively bringing about peace. As a drop of water is one with the ocean, so are our good thoughts … One with God. This ablution and washing away of anger and divisiveness brings about the power of Love, which is all there really is in God’s kingdom.

    1. I have loved that quote you alluded to for decades. “As a drop of water is one with the ocean, a ray of light is one with the sun, even so are God and man, father and son, one in being.” It has always given me that same peace of harmony and sense of being an active, important participant of God’s love, goodness, and healing. We can all be that agent for change, whether it is a drop or a flood tide. I needed this inspiration this morning!

    2. PS. I had written the comment but it didn’t seem to go through, so had rewritten it as best as I could remember what I wrote. Sorry for the double comment.

  10. Wonderful topic and analogy from the coal vein of fire. I will join you in pouring on the bucket of love each day! It already feels way more powerful thinking of how many of us will commit to doing this.

  11. As a drop of water is one with the ocean and has all the power of the ocean behind it, so our seemingly little prayers of 3×3=9 have all the power of 3 duodecillions x 3 duodecillions = 9 duodecillions. Mind is all and gives us our prayers (Romans 8:26).. They thus have all power!

  12. Thank you Evan. Here in Canada too. We all need to pour on Love. Embrace everyone and all creation in Love. So appreciate for the reminder.

  13. Excellent vlog, Evan! Great one to share. On my Bible Lesson I4m adding a post-it to “pour on the healing water of love for God and man for our country and world”.

  14. Love finds a way. That’s the great fact of being. Love always has the last word.
Interestingly, the same thing happened in the state of Pennsylvania with a vein of coal underground on fire that went on for years. About thirty years ago I had to drive through this region and smoke was rising from the sides of the road for miles. Fires always burn out and Love has the last word in regeneration, restoration, renewal. Praise God who fills heaven and earth, The earth is the Lord’s (Supreme Ruler) and the fullness thereof. Thank you, Evan, for this holy message.

  15. Thanks for the reminder, Maryann, that fire (and hatred) always burns itself out! Love triumphs over all evil thoughts and malicious purposes or selfishness or greed. Love, God, good wins the day, every day! Keep pouring, Everyone and share! Nice to see some from other countries joining in! Let’s keep it going and going all over the world! Blessings to all, and Peace!

  16. I am always deeply grateful for the wonderful articles I’ve learned of from this site. Thank you Angie for the article you suggested. It’s so relevant to our situation in the world today. Deeply grateful for this blog and for everyone who participates.

  17. A poem I got from a CS blog somewhere//time ago I wanted to share:

I am the place that God shines through
For He and I are one not two
He wants me where and as I am
I need not fret, nor will, nor plan
If I am relaxed and free
He will carry out all his plans through me!
