Praise the Lord today

“Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.

~ Psalms 103:2-3, NLT

The above verses are a powerful reminder to let our real, spiritual self, shine out for all to see.

“Let all that I am praise the Lord…” What is “all that I am?” It’s all that is spiritual, good and beautiful.

Anger does not praise God. Hatred, resentment, ill-will, grumpiness, selfishness, complaint and their kin, do not praise God.

Love praises God! Truth praises God. Forgiveness, generosity, kindness, patience, and wisdom praise the Lord. Qualities of Truth and Love constitute your true being. They are who you are in God’s likeness!

So, let the real you shine forth today for all to see, feel and rejoice in.

Be God’s expression in all you do. Praise the Lord! And this will cure your sins and diseases too, which is a nice side benefit.

  1. Thank you Evan for this beautiful reminder. It truly banishes sin, sickness and death. Yesterday I was confronted with a whole lot of disease talk (in passing conversation with friends). Some of the stuff was a bit alarming at first. Then turning to God I let joy in His eternal and infinite perfection, therefore man’s eternal and infinite well-being replace the false sense. I was able to forgive myself for getting impressed and also a bit irritated at my friend’s love for sharing diseases and medical histories about everyone including celebrities. It allowed us to have a happy time for the rest of the evening and no more “rubbish talk” was shared.
Your spiritual view today was a lovely reminder to praise Him and only Him. What joy and peace follows! Thank you Evan.

  2. A lovely inspiration indeed. We need to praise the Lord not just in words but in deeds, by being loving, forgiving, kind, patient, generous, wise, good. This brings health and healing in our experience and blesses all whom we meet. Thanks so much Evan for enriching our lives with spiritual inspirations, on a daily basis.

  3. Thank you, Evan, for your lively, spiritual and loving invitation to praise God with all our life and with all our mind and with all our strength and to thank Him – and there is also good opportunity to do this at the Testimonymeeting this evening at church!

  4. Yes! Thank you, Evan, for this Spiritview reminder! I was listening to a C.S. Radio Sentinel Program on a CD and heard that, in the book of Malachi in the Bible, Malachi hears God say that He will open up the windows of Heaven and pour us out AS a Blessing! Since we truly are the Shine of God, we can’t help but let God pour us out AS His Blessing today! Praise God!

  5. I am so glad to read Farida’s comment on those who talk incessantly about medical diseases that it inspired me to understand that isn’t what I think so therefore it can’t hurt me. I must never take it in or be tempted by them.

  6. Graditude There are so many decisions we make during the day. Choises are made with understanding and understanding comes from the Divine Mind. Be in tune through daily prayer for one’s self.

  7. Thanks Evan and all those who have shared their inspirations. The Bible notes from CedarS Camp included the idea that we should follow every thought with “thus saith the Lord.” If this is not true then neither is the thought.

  8. Thank you, Evan! A great “reality check” to ask myself, “Is what I am saying/feeling/doing at this moment praising God?” And Lori’s comment goes along with it so well!
