“Just remember, there’s a right way and a wrong way to do everything and the wrong way is to keep trying to make everybody else do it the right way.”

  1. “Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” – “Enable us to know, – as in heaven, so on earth, – God is omnipotent, supreme.” (Science and Health p. 17). To know what Evan said yesterday, i.e. God is in control and we reflect God`s control, assures me that I can only choose the right way, God`s way!
Thank you very much Evan! With this lifting up I can make my day with God. – Very sweet and refreshing picture! 🙂

  2. Love the Colonel Potter quote! We don’t need to go around bopping people on the head like Little Bunny Foo-Foos of Divine Science. We just need to know we are wholly spiritual and governed by God. Thank you, Evan!

  3. We must each work out our own salvation and everything else – that’s enough to keep me busy. All I can do for others is pray and let God do the rest.

  4. Oh boy, once again! Just as I was outlining what someone “ought” to do, God’s perfect message was delivered – and I thank you, Evan, for being the messenger. You certainly listen and obey!
I am grateful every day for the wisdom which comes, often, in unexpected ways!
My Thanks also to Jay, for reminding me not to be Little Bunny Foo Foo!!!!

  5. Feel like I needed this yesterday, when a scheduled work session was canceled hours before the start time. Today I woke up to realize where my thought had sunk to, and with this timely message, doing a re-do on my disappointment and negative reactions, this SV message sends me in the right direction I am so grateful to receive this “ladder” to pull me up! Thank you Evan and all.

  6. Evan, and all: This daily communication with each other helps lift one another. Sharing thoughts help and heal.

  7. I so needed to hear this today. Thank you Evan. But then you always inspire and point me in the right direction. Thank you, again.

  8. Always so grateful for your Spirit View, Evan, and for the thoughts of your readers!
    A great reminder, for sure!
    Thank you!

  9. This is only so perfect for the group I’m workng with this week. I think they all have cabin fever with the weather conditions and are biting at each other. I’m gong to share this thought with them. It should resonate even though they are not CS. Thanks!

  10. If I may, let me express the deepest of gratitude for your not surprisingly, timely post. Last night just before bed I was presented with an opportunity to get upset over a human opinion differing from my own over a topic that I feel overwhelmingly strong about. But the beautiful ideas from the lesson this week on Soul(our true identity) especially in section 3 regarding the beautiful and meek (aka powerful) character of Abigail and David caught me before I took the bait and responded with “human wisdom.” I went to bed slightly shaken, but refusing to go down the wrong path of thought. This morning I received beautiful messages and inspiration from God including this post, and was able to put it all in God’s hands instead. What an opportunity we have to grow daily.

  11. Great message! I feel like that’s what others are doing to me – perhaps not overtly, but it’s the definite message.

But by the same token, I can’t make others do things differently, even if I’m right! So I have to let go, and trust God to work things out.

  12. This is kind of late, but what an important thing to learn! Thanks, Evan, and all for your thoughts on the subject. Whenever personal sense comes into our thought about who, what, and when something should be done, we need to be still and listen for God’s direction. I love Dr. Potter’s quote!

  13. This is kind of late, but I appreciate all the comments. Thanks for the quote from Col. Potter! What fun. Yes, I’m learning that whenever a personal sense of who, what, & when something should be done and we feel strongly about it, we have to stop, be still, and listen to God. Then harmony prevails!

  14. It is always more important to love than to always have the right answer.Happy Valentine’s day, the day of love.
