  1. According to hymn no.249, “gratitude is riches, complaint is poverty”, and so I hope I have more gratitude for the kindness of people – seeing them as God’s children, than complaint, which denotes a poor attitude. Lets all have a gratitude attitude!

  2. Hi dear Evan, how funny and yet thought provoking.

I might at least have enough, but most inmportant – rich in heart and love for my neigbor –

It is much more healthy for you and for the other if you speak kindly about others.
Then you acknowledge the good in the other, the good he naturally expresses as God`s child!

Think that is the tenor you mean, thank you Evan!

  3. A friend recently sent me a thank you card that had the words, “Kindness is many small gestures that together make all the difference in the world”. How true this is. Wishing you, Evan, and Everyone a happy, kind of a day. : )

  4. Amen! “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” To talk negatively about others is to gossip, and sometimes it seems easy to fall into the trap, especially if people have been unkind or mean. But that’s not a picture of the true man, and we need to drop it and replace it with the correct view. Love gives us true wealth.!

  5. There is a citation that people in Optimist International say at every meeting. It is a promist to ourselves. There are about 10 wonderful promises including:

PROMISE YOURSELF THAT NOTHING CAN DISTURB YOUR MIND.
PROMIST YOURSELF TO GIVE EVERYTHING YOU MEET A SMILE.
PROMISE YOURSELF TO MAKE EVERYONE FEEL THERE IS SOMETHING GOOD INSIDE THEM.

Google this and find many other statements that fit the gratitude concepts.
