Where are you headed?

January 24, 2012 | 2 comments

Are you clear on the direction your life is taking? Do you know where you are headed and what the outcome will be?

One of the Peter Principles tells it well:

“If you don’t know where you’re going, you will probably end up somewhere else.”  Laurence J. Peter

Where are you headed with your employment, your family, your personal life, your spiritual study …? If you are not clear on the spiritual outcome you expect to demonstrate, mortal mind may be the influence along the way making decisions for you. It’s like daydreaming. The daydreamer has no idea where thought may end up.
The better way is to get focused—focused on demonstrating Christ, Truth, in every activity. Christ leads the way to heaven here and now.
Put living and expressing Christ first in the workplace, at home, with the family, in your personal life and spiritual study. The rewards are eternal and the benefits unsurpassed.

“I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.” NLT, Phil3:14

“No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” JesusChrist

  1. I am a recent college graduate who is trying to figure out my next step in life. Thank you so much for reminding me what the most important thing to focus on is. When you put Christ first everything will fall into place beautifully and harmoniously.
