  1. “Thou will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee; because he trusteth in thee.” Isa 26:3

  2. This is wonderful Evan and so appropriate as our home fills up with guests for Christmas and New Year celebrations. It’s so easy to let thought get a little frantic! I even wonder how much time I can grab for my spiritual food of bible lessons, daily lifts and of course the loving support of Spirit View!
Before I opened this vlog this morning the thought occurred to me that ‘ in my Fathers house there are many mansions “ This must include time for dwelling on what God wants me to do and of course knowing that in truth we are all abiding in that peaceful, calm spiritual consciousness.
I’d like to take this opportunity to say thank you to you Evan for all the guidance you so lovingly share here every day. For the beautiful places you show us with the help of Kathy too.
Loving wishes for The Christmas time to you and yours , not forgetting this whole family here of seekers of Truth. The comments are always inspiring and helpful. I am so grateful to you all.
The arms of divine Love are surrounding us all eternally and I pray that everyone feels this peace in some tangible way during the celebration of Christmas❣️

O dreamer leave thy dreams for joyful waking
O captive rise and sing for thou art free
The Christ is here, al dreams of error breaking
Unloosing bonds of all captivity….hymn 202

    1. Thank you Barbara, such lovely sentiments! You sound as though you are in for a busy time. Your self, family, home and visitors will all be blessed by your prayers

May I piggy-back onto your post and add my thanks to Evan as well. I have often thought what a great job Kathy does with the filming.

Best wishes to all for a peaceful, blessed Christmas.

  3. As I watch these awesome vlogs in such heavenly places, a feeling
of peace settles in and transcends thought away from the worldly
challenges that try so hard to depress and bring thought down.
Being on this site with so many spirit seekers is like coming home
to a warm, loving environment that gives such a feeling of
inclusion. I echo the gratitude shared and thank you all.

    1. Carol I echo all that you have said. Very grateful to be among everyone here at this season and always. A wonderful supportive group of spiritual friends.

Evan thanks for the reminder that as we focus on spiritual truth, we see that All Is Well. A true deep rest goes along with that.

  4. Beginning about 37-38 years ago I had challenges in having the peace of mind or the sleep, that others thought was necessary for sanity and survival, until the idea in the next paragraph came to me. Caring for others meant most nights I had less than two hours of sleep and not consecutively or deeply. God rebuked me for my fear and self-pity, my resolute, enduring versus chosen celebrating.

** “No! It is not the quantity of hours of unconsciousness, but the quality of moments of divine consciousness, that inspires, strengthens, heals, restores, and improves!”

Personal sense, materialism, wears us out, wears us down. Spiritual sense, practicing love and gratitudes lifts us up and enlightens our world.

And so while I had to be very alert and ready to quickly reason and energetically powerfully act and be awake 20 to 24 hours a day for most of the last 38 years, I was saved from the physical, mental, and psychological feared consequences of “chronic severe sleep deprivation”. I have never been tempted to use sleeping pills or hypnotism or whatever . I have enjoyed being strengthened by the persevering inspiration abundant affluence and power. It has helped protect me from the moral sleepwalking of mob mentality and complicity with socially accepted harm to people and planet. It has given me hours of focused time alone undistracted with God. It has given me confidence and curiosity about the next taken-for granted belief that can be corrected and next opportunity for transformative repentance. It expanded my sense of family and community and life purpose. It has helped me find great joy in comforting others and witnessing healings beyond most people’s belief. I am far better and my life far richer with blessings because of all those night hours not wasted in dreams or dullness and day hours not drained with self-pity or laziness/craziness/dustractions.

What Evan writes is true for each of us. No matter how severe the circumstances or chronic or long or feared or the rigid intensity of belief of everyone around us.

It is not the quantity of hours of unconsciousness, but the quality of moments of divine consciousness.

    1. Edie, did you not say once that you were in the process of writing a series of books? If so, I trust you will let us know when they are published and ready for purchase. Thank you!

  5. Thank you so much Evan and all for this inspiring vlog and insightful comments! I am reminded of a quote by John Randall Dunn CSB, an early lecturer & editor of the periodicals:

“Every day declare the powerlessness of mass hypnotism and suggestion. Maintain daily, hourly-many times-that omnipotent Good, changeless, triumphant Principle is at the helm.
Another morn breaks! May this day be established as joyous unfolding of Life and Good. No time limitation, no pressure, no fearing can rob me of peace or keep me from hearing Truth’s leading and proving Love’s rich amplitude.”

    1. hahaha, Gregg…nicely funny and yes, thanks to everyone for being here to hear Evan’s vlog/blogs. They are so uplifting.

  6. After a somewhat anxious night of tossing and turning, and like Martha in the Gospel of Luke feeling burdened about many things, the reading of today’s message uplifted my thought and prompted me like Mary to sit at the feet of Jesus to find truth and peace. Every inspired comment here serves to raise consciousness to a higher vantage point, and promotes healing fruitage. I am so grateful for this beautiful fellowship.

  7. Thank you Evan. Thank you to every member of this holy family. This peace is needed by Everyone. This is very inspiring as I read through all the contributions I feel blessed.

  8. Edie – I can relate to your experience. In my chosen career field, for the last 4 decades, sleep, weekends and holidays were never regular and never enough. It truly felt like a twilight zone of existence.

Only the most elemental basics of Christian Science could be kept in thought to keep me going, where I hung on to a thread to keep me sane and safe at work and at home for myself and others.

Thank you for sharing. I thought I was the only one.

  9. thank you very very much for your Vlog today. And thank you for always leading us to the spiritual views of all the important themes, wonderful!
I am very glad and grateful you give us great comfort and healing thoughts. At times I said to my restless thinking in the evening “peace be still.” But today I am more peaceful through help of a dear practitioner than years before. And that’s right what Evan says, through spritual mindedness we find peace in the loving presence of our Father-Mother God.
Can always only say that I am really very grateful for Evan’s profound daily help to start our day with the right spiritual conciousness.
of course nothing can replace the study of our valuable weekly Bible Lesson.
Big thanks and love to all SpiritView friends!♡

  10. Today, when I was at the house of a beloved 101-year-old woman who is far more active than and a far better driver than most people at any age, I saw a note I thought was relevant to today’s vlog on one of her beautiful, calligraphy bookmarks. (She continues to win awards every year for her beautiful calligraphy, and every time I am at her gracious home, I see new piles of books that she’s in the process of reading thoughtfully.) The book mark said, “ Seeds planted deep… rest, then rise,”. She is a deep thinker and carries love and integrity with her wherever she goes, inspiring others. For peace is the fruit of righteousness.

    1. Edie thanks for telling us about your very inspiring friend! Sounds like she is involved in many pursuits that keep her interested and excited about Life. A good expression of the continuing vitality of God’s children.
