Thank you Evan and all. I was raised in a CS family and went to CS Sunday School and have been reading the Bible Lesson each week for a very long time. So it’s common for me to be able to recite Bible citations in the lesson from memory they are so familiar. But frequently when reading the lesson, if I humble myself, I see a Bible citation in a new light. Today that happened when I read the following from Luke 17:20, 21

20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
======================
It occurred to me that the Pharisees were looking for the kingdom of God (harmony) in “external” ways. For example, they may have thought “If only the promised Messiah would come and free us from Roman occupation, then we’ll be happy!” But Jesus understood that harmony/happiness must be realized in thought, based on Truth, before it manifests itself in our experience.
In S&H there is this in Mrs. Eddy’s definition of “man” (male/female, child/adult):

He is the compound idea of God, including all right ideas; …
(Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, Mary Baker Eddy, p. 475:14–15 (to ;))

So we ALREADY have the right idea of everything as part of who we are as an individual expression of God’s compound idea “man.” Jesus understood that. We just need to realize/understand that!
We don’t need to look externally for harmony/happiness because it’s within us. We just need to realize it. How do we do that? I think being grateful for the truth that we have the right idea of everything is one way. Praying to know we get the right idea of everything from God and therefore nothing can interfere with, or block, our clear understanding that we have all right ideas (harmonious/happy ideas) because we are the effect of God, divine Love, is another way. Rejoicing that effect must manifest Cause…and that nothing can prevent effect (us) from perfectly manifesting Cause (God)…is yet another way. Evan provides many other ways in his posting today too. Thanks again Evan! Yes, I’m going to have a great day today…and every day! Having nothing but great days is inherent in my identity as God’s expression, effect, manifestation! And any suggestion contrary to that truth is a lie that we don’t have to accept. Instead, we can drive it out of thought with the truth!

Thank you, RobertH, that has recently happened to me, too in Mrs Eddy’s explanation of Jesus’ ability to heal. I long known of ‘Jesus beheld in Science the perfect man, who appeared to him where sinning mortal man appears to mortals. In this perfect man the Saviour saw God’s own likeness, and this correct view of man healed the sick.”
But recently the words “saw God’s own likeness” jumped out like never before. So Jesus would see “God’s own likeness ” in me! And nothing else! And now I feel I can see myself more like that, too.
