If you harbor any fear of being exposed to the coronavirus, take heart, there are preventative steps you can take to avoid any bad effect. Spiritual mindedness creates immunity to the virus and neutralizes any potential harm from being exposed to it.
The virus itself, as a material germ, is not a threat. It’s the fears attached to it and false beliefs about it as a power apart from God, that creates sensations of danger. When the fears and false beliefs are dissolved with an understanding of God’s power and presence, the virus is rendered harmless. It will not make you sick.
Jesus Christ taught us how to neutralize any bad effect from potential material threats. He promised, “These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed” (Mark 16:17-18, NLT).
His statement “if they drink anything poisonous,” could likewise be taken to mean “if exposed to anything life-threatening,” which would include the coronavirus pandemic now encircling the globe.
Jesus said that “those who believe” will be safe. “Those who believe” are they who believe in the saving and healing power of Christ. As Christian Science makes clear, “to believe” is more than blind faith in God. It’s a spiritual understanding of God’s power and presence that acknowledges no other power than God.
In a consciousness of God’s omnipresence and omnipotence, viruses are harmless.
To be spiritually minded is to know, feel and express God’s power and presence. Each of us are free to do this. We do not need to cower in fear. We can demonstrate immunity to the coronavirus by staying spiritually minded.
Spiritual mindedness creates immunity to the coronavirus and protects one from harm.

Thank you for this comforting and healing blog! Keeping our thought “in the secret place” of God’s allness and presence not only for me and mine, but for everyone in my community and in the world. God is the atmosphere we “live and move and breathe” in .God made man spiritual and nothing can be added to it or taken from it! Truth neutralizes and destroys the seeming error of mortal thinking. I love where the CS lesson states, “ Let the skies pour down righteousness; let the earth open and let them bring forth salvation and let righteousness spring up together, I the lord have created it”. Where is God in all this? Here! Everywhere!- pouring out goodness for all! I have been waking up with Messages of Truth the last couple of days. This morning it was simply” Perfect God, Perfect man” I attribute this to the Christianly scientific prayers Going out to the world! We can do much good here! Keep your lights burning!

Thank you. On this foggy morning i am joyous to know that, as the sun is shinning beyond the fog, God’s love is breaking through the clouds of darkness and burning up all the illusions of our imaginations and mortal belief.

It fits right in with your message today- “‘ To believe’ is more than a blind faith in God, it’s a spiritual understanding of God’s power and presence that acknowledges no other power than God.” And “To be spiritually minded us to know, feel and express God”s power and presence. Each of us are free to do this!”

Not able to attend or call in to a testimony meeting last night but spent the hour listening for what a God is imparting to one and all. That led me to this paragraph in the textbook: “The necessity for uplifting the race is father to the fact that Mind can do it, for Mind can impart purity instead of impurity, strength instead of weakness, and health instead of disease.”
This morning Mind imparted the idea that nobody has any pre-existing condition except perfection.

And we sure know what to do with this! Mrs. Eddy makes it so clear in her Chapter on this subject in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures: Animal magnetism…”is the…false belief that mind is in matter and is both evil and good; that evil is as real as good and more powerful. This belief has not one quality of Truth. It is either ignorant or malicious.”

Our weapons to handle this aggressive lie that we can be influenced erroneously and corrupted!

My first question, when I read this, was am i really spiritually minded ? Because I know that it is most important for our spiritual progress. But of course – because of the spiritual fact, that we are the divine image and likeness of God expressing Spirit!
But it is helpful to study daily Christian Science in the form of studying the weekly bible lesson sermon including praying. . Mrs. Eddy admonishes us in one of her writings that all Christian Scientist shall daily pray diligently for themselves.
This asures me that we are spiritually minded which protects us from any harm and creats Immunity against it as Evan writes in the last sentence of today”s so inspiring and helpful SpiritView – thank you very much Evan! :))
