You are worthy

March 3, 2023 | 26 comments

If ever tempted to think you aren’t worthy of a healing, be quick to remember that you ARE worthy of God’s love and care!

Everyone is worthy of God’s love and care.

Divine Love is not partial. It does not bless some people and exclude others. Everyone is equally loved and valued by God’s grace.

Like the sun shines on all without qualification, God loves all without hesitation.

God’s blessings are found through spiritual sense. In spiritual sense, we find God’s love and care. What we see and feel spiritually improves what we experience humanly. Healing happens.

To realize God’s love and care, it’s critical that we not be influenced by evil suggestions to the contrary. A suggestion of “You are not worthy,” is malicious animal magnetism. If believed, it would make us feel separated from God’s love and care.

Don’t believe a lie! You are worthy. You are infinitely worthy of God’s goodness!!

God loves you as much as anyone, and you have God’s infinite Love at work on your behalf to strengthen, help and heal you.

Accept your worthiness. Embrace it. Be grateful for it and enjoy its benefits.

You are loved. You are cared for. You are worthy!

  1. Thank You Evan for helping me listen for “His voice in the wilderness”.
My readings this morning were written by Mrs. Eddy as a sermon and later published in The Sentinel. Feb. 2, 1918 Entitled “Life”.
It’s abstract thinking and it explains how the material senses cannot visualize the real man, made in God’s image. Along the line of thought offered for today, and this weeks lesson entitled “Man”.
Perhaps someone might provide the link for this timely sermon.
Have a lovely weekend dear SpiritView readers!
    Lovingkindness, David

    1. Thank you Evan and David.
I loved your thoughts this morning and MBE’s writings. Thanks David for sharing the Sentinel article. So much to gleen from it.

    2. Thanks David. That’s an amazing article and thanks also to Evan for today’s so helpful message on our worth as God’s children. X

    3. Dear David Brandon, thank you for posting the 1918 Sentinel article “Life.” There is no doubt that “Truth’s immortal idea is sweeping down the centuries,” but boy, oh, boy, do I LOVE to reach back to Mrs. Eddy’s day and ponder her writings. Could there be anything more deeply metaphysical than what she shared in her lectures, sermons, and writings? Thank you so much. And, Evan, thank YOU for providing this forum that we may continue to learn the Science of Being. Much love and appreciation for all you do every day.

  2. What an all encompassing treatment Evan….Thank you . Just what I needed today to lift my thought above human concept to our spiritual worth and bounty❣️

  3. THIS IS PERFECT! I am an English teacher for senior students. As such, I have my students focus much of their writings on telling their personal stories, good and bad. They read their stories aloud in groups and write thank you notes to each other for trusting us with their stories. Every day, when the bell rings, I ask, “What’s your story?” to which they reply “We are worthy!” Because I teach in a public school, I obviously need to be careful of sermonizing of any kind. But I feel that this simple dictum, repeated daily in my class, helps to remind my students they are loved, lovable, and beloved. Thank you Evan, for reminding ME that I. too, am just as loved. And thank you, David, for sharing the additional article.

  4. Likely, if we put all the Books we now and all the teaching we now about, into the worlds biggest computer and ask for a answer, it probably come out with one answer, Divine love, God ,
    Thank you Evan!

  5. Thank you Evan. Love is impartial and universal in its adaptations and bestowal.Science and Health 13:2-3.
We are worthy. This breaks all kinds of limitations man may meet. We enjoy limitless love from Spirit, God.

  6. Thank you Evan for this declaration of what is real and true about each one of us. David, appreciate the link to the article. I found the message very helpful . This blog and all the thoughts and articles shared are a daily blessing.

  7. Thank you, Evan, for a very comforting and reassuring message speaking directly to each one of us.
It really helped me as I read it this morning. It is good to be reminded that we are all worthy of a healing, because God made us to be like Him, so knows us to be worthy, and loves us as His own perfect spiritual ideas. I am grateful that we can expect healing whenever we need it.

  8. So many Truths of Love here! Just what I needed this morning.
What resonated with me the most, Evan’s declaration,
“Divine Love is not partial. It does not bless some people and
exclude others. Everyone is equally loved and valued by
    God’s grace.”
We are all perfect expressions of this Love. The warmth of these
spiritual messages are so helpful in bringing home this Truth. I
am so very grateful, Evan, that you have provided this wonderful
site for us to share these insights that are so appreciated.

  9. Dear Evan,
I cannot fully express the importance of this message today. Sometimes when we are striving and working towards a healing, trying to realize our present perfection and see the evidence, this malicious lie of unworthiness can creep in. But, as your message conveys, It’s temptation! That immediately clarifies things, reminds us that temptation, suggestions are NEVER GOD’S LAW. Thank you so much!

    1. Thank you very much J for the wonderful article from Karen Neff. It is such a great demonstration she made. And I love her clear explanations how she worked it out!
By the way, Karen also receives SpiritView and she commented several times. Thank you dear Karen!♡

      1. Thank you for mentioning that about Karen. I’ve been coming across quite a few of her articles recently and find them helpful

  10. The admission to one’s self that man is God’s own likeness sets man free to master the infinite idea. (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, pg 90: 24-25)

  11. Evan,- thank you for your loving instruction,- prompting us to challenge mortal mind’s tendencies to make us feel undeserving of God’s goodness and grace, and to realize our blameless purity and value as reflections of God’s perfect nature. Under the government of divine Principle, Love, we all have the power and authority to counter and rebel against the claim that man is a hopeless sinner, undeserving of experiencing the fullness of God’s goodness. So grateful for your reminder that we are all His beloved ideas, worthy of His infinite blessings!

David, – thank you for your kind posting Mary Baker Eddy’s exceptional 1918 sermon “Life”. I am in awe of the scope and clarity of Eddy’s spiritual vision, and of the depth of her spiritual understanding and it’s practical applications. This priceless article is one to keep for future study.

    A beautiful weekend to all!

  12. There is much talk in the public sphere about inequality and the importance of equity and inclusion so that all can benefit from the good that seems to be spread unevenly among the members of society. It is important work that’s being done materially to right these wrongs, but it’s also necessary (and even more important), to see that spiritually, it is the divine right of every being to experience the full good, and care and love and opportunities that God provides to all His children.
Acts 10:34-35 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons. But in every nation he that feareth Him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with Him.

Love and a wonderful weekend to all of you dear SpiritViewers!

  13. Thank you, Evan and all. I struggle with the worthiness issue because I feel I’m not the best Christian Scientist and therefore feel I don’t have what it takes to deserve a healing. Your blog today is so helpful!

    1. Dear DB, Your humility proves your innocence and worthiness for “The dear Christ to enter in”, None of us as far as I know are walking on the water. But to begin, start by not fearing the waves and winds of error. Simply shake off fearful beliefs, Let perfection and only perfection rest in your consciousness. The body has to acquis to that and reflect that perfection in thought.
“Lean not on thine own understanding”. There are many who are equipped to forward healing oil into your wounds. Look up “OIL” in the glossary of Science & Health. You aren’t alone in the struggle to overcome materiality. We are all in this together as “One Body” and of “One Mind”.
Loving Kindness, David Brandon (Also DB!)

  14. Our worth comes from Gen 1:31, where “God saw everythng that he hath made, and behold it was very good.” That includes you.and me.

  15. Our worth is described in Gen 1:31 “God saw everything that he hath made, and behold it was very good”. That includes you and me.

  16. The Holy Bible assures us that God made man in His image and likeness, and God found His creation to be very good.
So on earth shouldn’t we not be worth of His care and healing power! The mortal man is a dream and the spiritual man is the glorious reality. Thank you Anonymous for your true comment!
And so wonderfully right what RH says and what we read in this week’s lesson sermon from SH p. 90 “The admission to one’s self that man is God’s own likeness sets man free to master the infinite idea.” O, I love this truth, it’s so freeing!
Dear Evan, thank you dearly for your loving and healing SpiritView which is divine food for the weekend! It gives is the conviction of being worth of total healing as God’s utmost loved child!!
Thank you all for the inspiring comments and the articles!
    Lovely weekend to all!!♡
